Seville Classics UltraSlimline Tower Fan Combo Pack, White

Update: 6 July 2020This combo pack is still going strong and I am still loving them. I ended up buying two more for my children's bedrooms. In June/July 2020 the original 40" fan started making a high pitched whine. Not all the time, but more often than not and it was really starting to get on my nerves. I did some research and ended up tightening all the screws around the base and around the motor. Unbelievably, it worked and the high pitch whine is gone. I blow out the fans at the beginning of every season (and in the middle of the season as needed) to keep the dirt/dust/pet hair from coating the fan. Still puts out the most air of any fan I have ever bought.I bought this because I needed a new fan for my living room and a smaller one for my kitchen. I bought a different brand for my kids bedroom. I figured I would put which ever fan that was better in the living room as it is a larger area. The Seville Classics fan blew the other brand fan away! I am very impressed with this fan! It is not horribly loud, and it can really put out some air. It is slightly more expensive than I wanted to pay, but overall I am very happy that I bought this.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a first impressions review, as I’ve only just received these fans today. I know other reviews mentioned problems after a few months, so I’ll update later if such an issue occurs.Big Fan: Item comes reasonably well packaged and with 1 instruction manual and 1 remote. Assembly is rather straightforward (two base pieces attach to tower unit with 4 screws) and is covered in the manual. The level of noise is about or slightly less than what I expected. NOTE: It sounds louder in the video than it does in person. There are 4 speeds ( Eco, Low, Medium, and High. When I’m just working in my room, the maximum volume/speed that’s comfortable for me without being distracting is Medium. It also has 3 different “wind” modes which allow for variance in speed: Normal (no variance), Sleeping (starts higher, ends lower), and Natural (random wind speed mimicking out-of-doors wind flow). Also has a timer (in 1/2 hour increments up to 7.5 hours) and oscillation (one speed). All functions can be controlled via the unit or via the remote (which requires 2 AAA batteries, which DO come with the unit). Footprint of the larger fan is very reasonable.Small Fan: Comes with its own instruction manual and doesn’t require any assembly, so that’s a plus. However, out of the box I noticed some rattling, so I took off the back panel (attached by six screws) and found a small piece of black plastic rolling around inside. I couldn’t see any obvious issues with the infrastructure of the fan, though, and the piece looked rather inconsequential, so I removed it and put everything back together. No more rattling. As far as output, it is definitely not as much as the larger fan, but then the volume is less, too. This one can be kept on high without being bothersome. The smaller fan has all of the same settings as the larger one EXCEPT the “wind” settings, which are not present. It has three speed settings (low, medium, and high) and three timing settings (1 hour, 2 hour, and 4 hour). The remote does NOT control the smaller fan. Doesn’t take up much space at all.Overall, I’m really happy with these—I’ll be having my first non-overheated night of sleep tonight since I moved in here.

Very quiet and lots of air flow. Wish the small unit had a remote.

My 10 year old put this together w/out the directions. This is the first thing she has ever put together.I wanted a fan that made noice and was nervous by some of the reviews saying how quiet it was . I am happy to say it is not very quiet.The air circulation has increased in my room since purchasing and helps a lot during the day when the temperatures outside are in the high 90s or over 100. It is light weight enough for me to room it around when needed.I have ordered another so I can replacing all our small table fans we have used forever.

Great low noise set of fans love the smaller one it’s so cute. Only thing is it’s not cool enough but still works well.

Fan arrived broken which is ridiculous that Amazon does not check these items before shipping when they are returned warehouse deals. Amazon rejected my first review warning people not to buy this. I plugged small fan in it did not even work so I did not bother with tower fan which was missing remote control and was my entire reason for purchasing this. Save yourself the grief and do not purchase this based on my experience. The advertisement for this item along with 2 more they have in their stock currently for sale does not say anything about missing remote control. I quire frequently purchase from warehouse and seems like it’s 50/50 chance

We bought this fan this summer, hoping to replace an ancient standing fan in our bedroom. I loved the idea of getting two for the price of one! The quality and features are only OK though, and I wouldn't purchase this again. Compared to our standing fan, the air flow put out by this tower fan is dismal, so instead of replacing the old one, we use both. If you turn it up to the highest setting it's super loud, and if you want to take it down one level, you can't. You have to click through all the other settings first. This wouldn't be the end of the world, except every time you click a button, either on the remote or the fan itself, it emits a horrendously loud beep. Not fun when you wake up chilly at 2am and want to turn the fan down a tiny bit. Be careful what you set it on, too - we had ours on a little chair so that we could actually feel the air when in bed, and the little rubber feet got stuck to the chair and peeled the paint off when we lifted the fan. It's nice looking as far as fans go, but I'm sure there are better ones out there.

Very pleased with this purchase. Great value for the money. Fan is efficient, high tech and quiet when operating. The smaller unit is handy and portable. Having a remote is a convenient bonus.

The remote died after couple of months and the company didn’t send the replacement.
