Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great item. Looking forward to hunting season and butchering being much easier this year.

As a biologist and fisherman who frequently uses frozen blocks of menhaden chum, I find the large blocks of this frozen fish product too large for general use and frequently cut 10-pound blocks in half using a reciprocating saw (sawzall). Even then, most blades stall and the cuts are tedious. These blades make such cuts effortless. Though not quite like cuting through butter, they make easy work of a thankless and tedious task. Being stainless, they resist the seawater where my work occurs and the investment is well worth the cost!

I read a lot of reviews before going ahead on these blades - they worked perfectly. Ordered some marrow bones for our dog and they sent us a package that had two MASSIVE bones that we would've preferred smaller, so had to DIY it. We cut each of these bones into 3 pieces using one blade (pictured), and we'll be using the same blade for package #2, same deal. Cut like a dream, easy to clean, no rust after use (it's been two weeks, btw, blade looks like new). Not sure if others tried to force it, but after reading comments, I told my husband to let the blade do the work. Highly recommend!

They are ss and do not rust but… These have extremely aggressive teeth and tear up the bone pretty bad. Will not purchase again unless they have a finer tooth version.
