Purchased these to make cold brew coffee. They work great for that purpose. I clean them as soon as the cold brew is done and they clean up very nicely. They fit perfectly in the half gallon mason jars, which is why I purchased them.

So I bought these to start making cold brew coffee and they work great. I got the bigger ones because I like to make a large quantity. The filter is really nice. It holds in all the little tiny sediment from finely ground coffee. You need a large mason jar to hold these.

I have a Hario Cold Brew maker as well. Between the two the Hario is the Gold Standard but I wanted a brew system that wasn’t as expensive, modular and flexible. This is good enough. I use the 10:1 ratio. I normally put 160g of the beans I roast and fill up to 1600g of clean water and sit in the fridge for 8-10 hours. This is shorter than the Hario! I haven’t tried to put 200g with 2kg of clean water but I think it won’t fit in a 2l jar. One note the rubber gasket on one has ripped. Not sure how much I care as I don’t put these on their side or upside down. These are easy to clean as well.

Works very well. I use regular ground coffee, so I do get the finest bits that come through, but it not much. If you use course ground coffee as you should for cold brew, you should not get anything coming through.

Got these to replace another brand that did not last. They are well built and are easy to clean. Pop them in the dishwasher and ready to go. It's a set so you can start a new batch of cold brew while you clean the other filter. My wife loves them and uses them all summer.

I bought these & didn't have a lot of expectations. I didn't think they would be bad, but I was NOT expecting them to be amazing! I'm a huge iced tea lover & also have a tea business. I've seen baskets of all sorts. These are hands down the nicest ones I've ever seen or used!! I don't have a photo, but there's really nothing to see that makes them look special. They are just like the photos they share. But what really sets them apart is holding them. Once you buy it and feel it in person, you will understand!!! They are really well made! Just buy them. Don't think about it.

I bought a couple of big hot/cold carafes with removable strainers to make tea. The strainers were metal with holes and a plastic knob to screw in at the top for removal. The strainers' holes were too small and it took forever to pour the boiling water in. Then trying to screw a plastic knob over the steaming opening was painfully impractical resulting in the strainer falling back into the carafe and splashing. I took a chance and bought these 3 mesh beauties. They fit the carafe openings perfectly. They filter out even the leaf bits that usually accumulate at the bottom. The water flows through the mesh without hindrance. The only tricky part was removing the strainer full of hot wet tea leaves . . . I tied a cotton string to use like a sling with a loop around the strainer and a loop on either side to pull up on. After emptying the leaves, the strainers go into the dishwasher. PERFECT.

Bought 1st set in November. It arrived with sealing circles. 5 stars. Reordered 3 more sets in December. 0 sealing circles. Disappointed.
