Pilot, G2 Gel Ink Refills, Bold Point 1 mm, Blue, Pack of 2

These refills will be wonderful for my new Pilot pens. The pens are extremely nice and dependable. The ink is superb.

These G2 gel cartridge refills fit a large number of pens (I use mine with one of the more expensive Watermans that looks similar to the WATERMAN Expert Rollerball Pen, Fine Point, Black Lacquer with Gold Trim (S0951680) ), and as crazy as it might sound, these $2 refills really do outperform some of the most expensive brands on the market, some of which are six times the price. The ink flow is smooth, but doesn't run, drying is fast, and smearing has never been an issue for me. It does indeed sound strange to put such an inexpensive cartridge in such an expensive pen (my Waterman cost me well over $100 when I purchased it ten years ago, and is now pushing $200 in today's market), but I've had experience with the very expensive European cartridges, and this Japanese Pilot refill really does beat them on most every count. Its the perfect marriage between the gorgeous quality and feel of the Watermans, which are still made in France, and a cartridge that performs to the level we would want to expect from such a nice pen. You can get them in multiple colors, and in four levels of line thickness, so make sure you select carefully using the selection tool before adding it to your cart. I've used both the blue and the black colors, plus the thick and medium thicknesses, and have been happy with all of them. This is a such an incredibly good deal for such an incredibly well performing product that giving it five stars seems like selling it short. Highly recommended.

Smear resistant after a few seconds, even flow, fine quality, comfortable to use. I use this gel pen because it’s easier to use and read than most other pens, especially for the visually impaired.

So I’m on a quest to reduce the waste my household generates, and I actually had no idea that pens were able to be refilled. Why didn’t I know that until literally this year? Anyway, throwing away pens when the ink has run out is wasteful and I thought I’d try these to reduce the amount of crap ending up in a landfill. They work great and I’m just happy to be spending less money and producing less trash.

Love the bold lines I can create with the 1.0 mm pilot G2 gel pens. Great for writing and drawing especially outlining things that I’ve drawn. I’ve been saving my barrels when they run out of ink, (trying to do my part for the environment and all that) and bought these refills for them. Love them.

My G2 pens are some of my favorites. The ink flows is flawlessly smooth, allowing my hand to glide across the page so I don't have to keep rewriting things, and my hand doesn't cramp up from having to press really hard. And I love that they're eco-friendly and easy on my pocketbook by making them refillable. I've bought the pens and refills in three different tip/point sizes so I can use them for different purposes (the finest ones for writing in my personal calendar, for instance, and the thickest ones for letter-writing and note-taking where I want a nice, bold line) and I've never been disappointed. (Tip: wrap washi tape around your pen barrels to quickly differentiate between different point sizes.) I do wish I could buy an assortment pack that had refills of several DIFFERENT sizes, since I have several different pens to refill, but at least with three different two-packs, I have extras on hand! UPDATE: I'm updating this review as I've since purchased a couple of colors, and Amazon doesn't separate these and consider them different products. The teal is absolutely gorgeous, and pretty much the color you'd expect. The burgundy is also nice, but it's a little odd. It comes out looking more like deep red and black intermingled, rather than a smooth burgundy color. It's nice, but not quite what I expected. Both of these are bold refills, and one of them is in a casing that was originally for a 0.7 pen, so for those who were wondering, yes, the broader tips will fit in the narrower pens. I have discovered, though, that many of the other-brand refills that are said by various sites to be interchangeable with these are not. These have an extra little bit of plastic around the base of the tip, and that keeps them fitting into other pens that take otherwise-identical refills. Those refills will fit in these pens, but these refills won't fit into those pens. (So far, for instance, I've tried an Ohto and a Jin-Hao, and both had the same problem.)

Funcionan de maravilla, lástima que su portaminas no tanto, al usarlo en un cuerpo de bolígrafo normal, éste se rompe fácilmente de la cuerda que permite cambiar el cartucho, así que debo comprar otro bolígrafo para usar los repuestos. Pero éstos sí funcionan y lo hacen muy bien. Es un azul intenso, nada que ver con otras marcas.

Best gel ink that I have found to date. As a full time student and being old fashioned I write my notes by hand. I have been using the Pilot G2 refills for the past year and a half or so and they work great. I have no complaints about them at all. They are vastly superior to the Uniball Signo refills in my opinion. The G2 lasts me longer about 3 months using it daily. The ink flows smoothly and rarely smudges. I have also been able to write on glossy or waxy surfaces, such as pictures, with little smudging. I personally prefer the 0.5mm size but the 0.7mm is also a good option although it will bleed through the page more in case you want to write on the back side.
