A fabulous kit, with very easy to follow instructions. The wooden pieces are great quality and fit together well. It took me quite some time to put together but I enjoyed every minute of it, it was very addictive. I have very little practical or craft skills and even I found it easy. It looks adorable, just like the photos on the advert, I can’t believe I put it together!The only downside was the glue, it took aaagggeeesss to set, so if you are impatient or want to do it quickly then buy some other glue to make it with. I was doing it a little at a time so it was fine for me.Very good value for the price I paid. I’m so addicted I’m already looking into which book nook kit to get next!

The media could not be loaded. This model is enjoyable to make, all of the parts fit together well.I used the glue (supplied) to stick most of the pieces together to make it more sturdy but you don't have to , you can just use the glue where the instructions require it.It does need some patience and you need to follow the instructions very carefully, also double check to ensure that you don't miss any pieces (like I did!) because it can be very tricky to fit them later on.I used black and red sharpy pens to colour the raw edges.As you can see from the video I installed a real clock instead of the fake wooden one that is included in the set - actually it's the movement and face from a replica (quartz) pocket watch. I needed to glue on a small wooden hook for it so that I can remove it when the clocks change, and when it needs a new battery. Please note that the kit does NOT come with this watch, you would need to purchase one separately if you wished to have a working clock.As for the finished model it's good but we prefer the other Rolife kits: Sunshine Town and Sakura Densya.

Looks good when complete. Not to hard to assemble just go slow as parts can be fiddly and easy to snap. All in all a good model

I enjoyed building this. The instructions were good, even though my concentration failed and I missed a step or two, I could go back and sort things once I realised. The wiring was simple and when it’s lit it’s very effective.I took my time, sanded each bit for best effect, and it came together after about 6 hours in total.I love it on the shelf - it’s true to seller’s images. It sits with my Japanese book section and adds to the theme!

A bit fiddly to do but looks good

Good quality kit, shipped fast. Bought for a present, friend was very pleased with it - they've definitely had lower quality book nooks before.

I pezzi sono perfetti come misura ma bisogna fare attenzione a tutti i passaggi e a non lesinare sulla colla. Per alcuni passaggi ho dovuto trovare degli accorgimenti per proseguire. Risultato finale molto scenografico.

Ich habe das basteln dieses Booknooks wirklich geliebt! Es ist wunderbar beschrieben, sodass man ganz einfach Schritt für Schritt alles zusammenbasteln kann. Als ich erst dachte, dass die Beleuchtung nicht funktioniert, hat mir der Kundenservice von Rolife direkt weitergeholfen und ich hatte binnen 1 Tages eine Rückmeldung per Mail + Angebot des kostenlosen Austauschs des Teils falls es weiterhin nicht funktioniert. Glücklicherweise hat es mit einem kleinen Trick geklappt und mein Booknook leuchtet. Ihr müsst nämlich nachdem die Batteriebox angeschaltet wurde noch zusätzlich den kleinen Touchknopf an der Vorderseite des Booknooks berühren.Es sieht wunderschön aus in meinem Bücherregal!

Non è stato semplicissimo il che lo ha reso più soddisfacente una volta montato. Le istruzioni sono fatte molto bene e la qualità è ottima. Chiunque abbia progettato questo prodotto ha speso parecchie ore per gestire le misure di tutti i pezzi e calcolare la robustezza durante il montaggio. Solo 1 pezzettino su diverse centinaia si è scheggiato perché sono stato un po' più irruento ma per il resto tutto perfetto. Da accesso in libreria fa una gran bella figura!
