These seem to be made of heavy duty steel they fit the bucket of my JD1023 perfectly. You will have to drill holes into your bucket, but they only take about 10min to install. They make carrying awkward loads much simpler and give you some nice extra attachment points for lifting logs, etc. the color was slightly different than JD green, but that could be from some sun fade on my older machine.

They are easy to install. I have used them for a few weeks now and they have preformed without issue. I am not a heavy user so for my use they are fine. The cost for the ones made with US steel were over twice the cost so I tried these. I do prefer US steel products and for anything that is going to get heavy use that is the direction I would go.

This was a "Trial" purchase. Compared to buying directly from John Deere suppliers, this set saved a few bucks. I was initially concerned about the set not having a "Back Plate" for added security and durability. That turned out to be a non issue. My JD is a small compact 1025R. If I'm planning on lifting anything that would require a back plate, my tractor simply wouldn't have the power in the hydrologic line to do the job. Overall, I'm impressed. I've used them numerous times for hooking fallen trees and dragging them. They helped with the neighbors car sinking in the mud. An all around handy addition and well worth the purchase. I am glad I've got them. I used a step up bit for drilling the required holes in the bucket followed by some touch up paint for the bare metal in the hole. After, I applied a thin layer of grease around the bolt and under the mounting plate. Never hurts to keep the moisture away. The whole process took about 20 mins. Longer had I waited for the paint to fully cure. 😊

Heavier duty than I expected. Pleased with quality. DOES require the drilling of (4) holes in bucket, once positioned and marked where you desire. Used/recommend a "step-bit" for this, AFTER drilling small pilot hole with normal bit to ensure proper start point alignment. Bolt hardware (bolts, nuts flat washers and locking washers) all included. Total install time was approximately 30 minutes. Nice little upgrade for bucket.

Easy install by my husband. They've come in extremely handy while working in fencing, or moving things and lifting.

Easy fit with the right tools and adds options to your bucket and strength.

Fit and colour matched the John Deere bucket.
