Sheaffer Sagaris Titanium Gray Fountain Pen with Medium Nib

Amazon does a great job of shipping pens. I got my pen a day earlier and was thrilled with the result. It writes like butter slides off a pan, and it is relatively rigid, yet takes writing to a whole new level for a pen at this price point. The box comes with two proprietary cartridges and will last you less than a week.The Sagaris has a glossy finish that is both appealing and reminds us of the quality vintage fountain pens Sheaffer made in the past. A resemblance with the Triumph, it also calls to mind the Snorkel, and has a stainless steel nib (I think), but writes smoothly and has an even ink flow. Although, when writing out of the box, it may be wet at first and the blue cartridge runs on the wetter side, after a few pages the medium nib eases.There isn't much to dislike about the pen. Although, use it posted as it gives a bit of extra weight for people, and for people with large hands that may be the ideal way as the pen is slightly short. This facet of this writing instrument is the only thing I dislike as keeping it posted may cause a bit of strain while writing, but I say this not as a caveat, but to balance this review. I find myself in a hard spot when trying to point at what I dislike. The ink quality of cartridges is a bit on the average side, but the addition of the converter makes the purchase quite economical.

Overall a great pen at good price.Looks 5/5 ... I just love the way it is especially in black and gold trim it's great lookerWeight 4/5.. I would say Well balanced.. but if you post cap. It may be bit heavySmooth while writingI ordered medium but I got fine nib. I was happy with fine nib too

Beware of William Penn. They sold me a used pen.. fluted gold body had numerous microscratches.Technically, around four to five stars can be given for the pen per se. Sheaffer standard.

It's only been a day since I have this new Sheaffer ink-pen, but I am very pleased with it. The look is of a glossy black and gold finish, the medium nib is just right, and it writes smoothly (virtually effortlessly), even on 'difficult' paper. The pen box came with an ink filler and two cartridges, which is actually more than I expected.

Classic fountain pen, writes well. The converter is of good quality. The cap posts deep and securely. Overall excellent product.

The media could not be loaded.  My sheaffer sagaris 9471 pen which is worth 4000 rupees which i just bought in january just stops working suddenly and starts leaking ink as you can see in video and picture of my hand and bedsheets.this is zero value for money my money got wasted.Your money is being wasted on amazon they will deliver the pen of 4100 rupees and it will become trash after 2 months dont waste your money. it is still in warranty period so please just do not ever again waste lots of your precious money on anything on amazon.i want refund and replacement of the item please.

Very nice looking and smooth writing. Also no problem in ink flow. Moreover it is a SHEAFFER

This is a very beautiful pen but increasingly, I am finding it hard to write with it. The refill is so unpredictable... first, it flows well and then, it becomes scratchy and light, forcing me to press harder or retracing my writing. What a shame... I expected far better of Sheaffer, one of the most highly regarded pen manufacturers in the world, but I fear that this pen will be retired to an old drawer or snapped in two and thrown in the bin within a few days.

I bought this pen for a friend and am overall, very happy with my purchase. The pen came in a lovely gift box with an additional sleeve, the pen is presented well in the box and it comes with a booklet inside. I really like the unique colour and the striated pattern, and it also writes well. It is also easy to disassemble to replace the black ballpoint refill.

This rollerball is perfect & I paid a bargain price. The pen has ridges all around which catches the light which is appeasing. This pen is a desirable addition to my growing collection of Shaeffer pens.

The pen itself is very classy, but I am bit disappointed with the ball point. Not that smooth. I expected better.

Sin consideraciones estéticas, porque me gusta ese diseño art déco que me recuerda a la Sheaffer PFM pero en reducido, técnicamente es perfecta. Fluye, no rasca y tiene un tacto, peso y equilibrio estupendos. El plumín F es menos F que en otras marcas, pero a cambio tiene una fluidez estupenda sin llegar a ser un M.
