I used this product to store my cast iron pie irons.Overall this is a good idea but could be better. The construction has good stitching and is well made.The velcro strap method that keeps the irons in place does not do a great job. The pie irons moved a lot while carrying the bag. Cast iron hitting other cast iron can cause the metal to crack and break. Perhaps a rework of how the velcro keeps the irons secure could be revised.The fabrics are good, but since this is designed for cast iron cookware, the exterior should have better water resistance. After a few seconds under the sink spigot, water started absorbing into the exterior fabric. I'm pointing to the darkened fabric that absorbed water as a reference. There are many robust abrasion resistant fabrics that shed water that should be used for construction.Fix those two things, and this is a 5 star product.

I am so disappointed in this product. When I opened the bag, there was what looked like an oil stain on the back. I figured that wasn’t too bad seeing as how it was going to get pretty dirty when we go camping. However, there was also a sizeable area where the stitching had missed the mark and left a big hole and just to top it off, the zipper broke the first time I tried to open and close it! Guess that’s what I get for buying Chinese knock offs….send me my money back.I am editing this review to add in that the seller contacted me and sent me a replacement bag with her apologies. I have not gone camping yet, so I have not used it, however, it didn't have any of the issues I had with the first bag. I have raised my overall rating to 3 because of the response.

I grew up with mtn pies. The family has always had a variety of irons and bags. The Rome irons and bags are far superior to the others. If you are investing in pie irons get the Rome bag and the irons. It is something that will last many many years. I am very impressed with my new setup.

I ordered this for my mother and father for Christmas. The transaction was flawless and the item came super quick! Love this case. Holds 4 pie makers by strapping them in the velcro straps, then I wrap the head of the 5th pie maker I carry to keep it from banging around. Also have 5 forks for hotdogs or marshmallows in this case and still is not packed full. Seems to be well constructed and sturdy. Makes carrying these 10 items a breeze. Very pleased with this case and would highly recommend.
