Your own legrest in coach!
I bought this on a whim as a lightning deal right before I left on a long international flight where I was not sure we would get upgraded. Well, I am glad I did! Ok, this thing looks weird but it actually works. You can hook it onto just about anything (I used the tray table from the seat next to me) and then rest your legs in it. You would be surprised how great this feels when you have been folded up in your seat for hours on end and you just want to sit in a different position (you don't want to fall asleep with your legs in the aisle!) It comes rolled up in a nice compact black bag and is small enough to fit in your purse. The strap length has quite a bit of adjustment built into it as well and was easy to adjust. While it is not particularly padded, it is wide enough that it is pretty comfortable for you to rest your legs on. You can also swing them a bit if you want. Best $7 I ever spent!

Lifesaver for a long trip
I just got back from a trip that involved close to 60 hours of travel time in a week. This thing was a lifesaver. It attached easily to the tray table, tucked into the seat back when I wasn't using it, was height adjustable, and provided good support. I'm kicking myself that I didn't try this sooner.

Perfect travel aide for short-legged people.
I bought this foot rest for my trip to the Philippines, 14 hours from Atlanta, GA to Seoul, Korea and another 5 hours from Seoul to Manila. I have to admit having my legs cradled in this foot rest for the duration of the flight was quite an experience. I put the strap over the tray table and it was easy to get in and out of it. My legs were comfortable for the duration of the flight if I sat upright but when I moved to the side, I had to figure out how to position my feet so they would be properly aligned with my body. This is why I only gave it 4 stars. I did like the fact that the blood didn't rush to my feet when I stood up since they were supported by the foot rest and I no longer had to struggle fitting swollen feet into my travel shoes! Two passengers who sat next to me on different flights liked the foot rest and said that it was a brilliant idea.

Lightweight & well made but unable to use on airplane
Although I have no problem with the product itself, I only rated this product as a 3 star because of the inability to use it on the plane. I specifically purchased this device so I could use it during my 10 hour flight to reduce swelling of my legs The concept is great, (lightweight & easy to slip into luggage) but unfortunately since there was such little leg room inside the plane it was impossible to lift my feet up into the stirrup, once hung. . Again- the issue is not the product but the inability to use it because of limited space on-board the plane.. Maybe it would work in a large SUV.

GREAT, saves my legs on a flight, just has to be hooked over seat in front of you!
I must admit I love this purchase. I’ve used on almost every flight since I purchased. Originally bought it for a trip around Europe with lots of flights. This sling is great for me because I like to sleep on flights and need somewhere to rest my feet to get comfortable. Even when awake, my legs can get a bit stiff and this is a more comfortable position for sitting. The sling is a great size and it very comfortable. The downside: You pretty much have to sneak this in between the cushions of the seat in front of you and hope you board the plane before the person ahead of you! You can hook it over your tray table but I found this pulled down the seat in front of you in away that could be disruptive to the person in front of you. It’s also just too close and doesn’t work as well. I would still recommend trying it and seeing if it works for you.

Works great for short people on long haul flights
I take about 3 round trip international long haul flights each year. I'm short (5'1") which is great for fitting into those tight economy class seats, but on the rare occasion I get upgraded (or am on a plane with a basic footrest in economy) I notice a huge difference in the swelling of my feet and fatigue in my legs. I bought this on a whim about a year ago, and have used it on every flight since, and it really makes the flight more comfortable! I hang it from the tray table in front of me and adjust it fairly high so my feet are right under the seat in front of me. On some planes I find that the buckle for the strap gets caught in the tray table, requiring some time adjusting the strap to get it right. I've never had a problem with the tray coming undone, and the people in front of me never seem to notice that I've installed it. The little stuff sack it came in was convenient, but shredded after the second trip, so I just roll it up and stick it in my carry on. It works great for me, but I don't see it working for anyone significantly taller than me.

A Must Have Travel Gadget with an Extremely Small Footprint...
Nice & compact. Functional and effective! Will be useful on long international flights, but short domestic flights, with anything under seat makes it difficult to use and get must use out of it. I tried using it on a flight from Boston to Houston with all 3 seats filled and I couldn’t make it work due to lack of space. But international flights have more space and I believe it was would function as expected or perhaps even better! I did use it in the car and it worked like a charm and in the hotel room! So I am definitely a fan and even purchased one for my mother who also suffers from leg swelling. Defiant recommend! Who knew???

Good footrest for long travels
I bought this one and 1 of another brand. This one is good quality but the other one is better. I wanted 2, 1 for mysel and 1 for my husband, but the other company had a restriction of only being able to purchase 1 item. The only real difference if the size for the leg room. This one is smaller and not as nice looking. But it does work good and. Would recommend it for the price and added comfort.

I actually used this through the glove compartment of my car! I had to tie a knot in the strap to get it to stay where I wanted but it was super comfortable for a long drive.

Got it for my mom so she can fly more comfortably - she loved it - she said that she was able to sleep better on the plain and not feel so uncomfortable doing the fight (she has bad circulation - this really helped). A MUST HAVE for frequent flyers.

I was skeptical, but trusted the high review scores and made the purchase. Taller people may not understand the sheer discomfort for shorter of the sitting angle on plane seats. This product has fully solved this problem for me. Being able to adjust it throughout the flight for variation by just pulling on the strap added to the comfort joy.
