I bought 2 of these: lilac and navy. My kids both pack lunch every day, and with the rare occasion that they take soup or other warm food, they use these containers exclusively. No leaks, EVER. Yes, they're tough to close, but both kids (6 and 11) bring home their containers closed, so obviously they're able to handle it themselves. I wash the containers by hand - fill with hot soapy water, close the lid, shake for 15-20 seconds, open and rinse. Good to go!Pros - no leaks, good compartment sizes (except for large sandwiches - see below). The height inside the compartments is enough that I can pack small condiment-size containers if needed. The utensil compartment is great for sending little notes to your kids (it's a great size for mini candy bars too!). Also, customer service is awesome - the first time my daughter used this, she lost the fork. I contacted the company, and for minimal cost, I replaced the fork, and ordered an additional set. The representative, Heather, replied promptly, and I had the new utensils within days.Cons - almost none, except that sandwiches on full-size/thickness bread can be hard to fit. I make all our bread, so I just slice it thinly. But sturdier, thicker slices might be an issue. If your kids only takes half a sandwich (like my 6 year old), it's not an issue. I also can't fit a water bottle in the lunchbox with this container - I have to pack it in the outside mesh pocket (the kids have LL Bean soft-sided lunch boxes).

I got this for my then seven year old son. He had so much trouble opening it during his first day of school that the school had to send a note home with it asking us not to send it with his lunch again because he couldn't open it. I'm hoping that he will be able to use it again when he gets a bit older. When I tried opening it while packing his lunch, it was hard for even me to open and I'm a fully grown adult.

Love the colors, the leakproof aspect between the sections, and that my little guy., 3YO, can open himself. The actual piece that clicks in to place for the lid to stay on, definitely feels like it could break eventually. Less durable feeling than a bentgo. Fits, snugly, in our current lunch box that he used to take a Bentgo in.

We had a family float trip on the river where we pack our own lunch. These were great for my grandkids as they could seal tightly, be stored in a cooler w/ice and did not leak at all. Their lunch stayed fresh and cool when it was time to eat.

My wife ordered these for the kids school and day trips. They're excellent and fit everything you could need to fill up on. With as modern look and easy to clean material, these will come in handy for years.

I really wanted this lunch container to be awesome. And it almost is! I have used mine for at least 6 months now, and I am sad to report that the corners are curling up. The lid now doesn't fit onto the base very well. I have 4 of these and they are all doing the same thing. Note that they have all been hand-washed. I would love to hear from anyone who knows of a way to prevent this or has a tip to fix it.

These containers are the best! I wanted them to replace all the little containers I always take to work. The compartments are a great size for fruits/veggies/dips/crackers etc. The seal is great! No spills. I would highly recommend these.

This bento is amazing. Perfect portion sizing for my son to have a variety of food unpacked at school. This container is also truly leak proof!! 100% honesty! I'm am so impressed with this product! Endless school lunch ideas! With spoon and fork are a sweet little bonus as well!Worth the money. You will not be disappointed!

I can fit 2 large, or 2 snack size and thermos in my kids' lunch kits. They are easy to pack for lunches, leak proof for yogurts and runny fruit, kids can see what's in the container, easy to clean, and hold enough food that my kids don't go hungry. My 3 yr old is able to open and close them easily. I've been using these for two years and will just keep replacing/adding to the collection as needed.My only complaint so far is that if they are dropped at just the right angle on a corner they will some times crack. The ones I've bought over the last 2 years seem to be better for this not happening.
