Love these shoes. I find them breathable and water resistant enough for going through wet grass etc. I've used them in summer and don't get too sweaty feet. Really comfy, fits my orthotics and true to size. Some flexibility to them so you get a grip on uneven surfaces. But I wouldn't think they would be comfy to run in (not that you would buy them for that). Not too heavy either.

I am a size 7 in summer flats and heels but a size 7.5 in sneakers. I ordered a size 8 and it fit me great with my hiking socks. My boyfriend ordered the mens his size and they ran big. I'm not sure how consistent the sizing is between male and female but it's worth noting your usual sneaker / athletic fit.Overall, super comfortable. It's very warm and sturdy. Kept me safe during the hike earlier this summer when snow was still around the mountains I visited. Kept me dry.I have really bad balance so these ankle leveled boots really prevented me from tumbling down. Would recommend!
