I ordered this ready to be disappointed just from the price. I was not. Out of the box I set everything at 12:00, clicked it on, and the Jerry sounds were coming right at me. I have had qtrons and have not liked any of them as much as this for half the price. Great product. Might have to order me a reverb from this company too.

I cover a few funk tunes in my set and needed to spice up my rig to achieve a more authentic sound. This little Mooer mini pedal did the trick! Shakedown Street by the Grateful Dead was truly the impetus that lead me to purchase an auto-wah pedal and I've been able to dial this pedal in to get that "Jerry Garcia Sound" perfectly! Very happy with this purchase. Thank You!!!

Paired this guy up with a boss dynamic wah.. my life’s just been funkier ever since ;) but in all seriousness it is a (relatively) great alternative to buying the more renowned and more expensive ehx qtron.Set the sens past 12 like maybe 4 o’clock - set the Q at around 3- set the tone at around 12 and the decay near 7-8 o’clock And you’re in business. The best envelope filter I have ever used, clean sound, nice range

OK So I have several Mooer pedals now, and the biggest advantage of these is how little room they take up on my board! This one is fun to play with - it's an envelope filter with some nice features. You can make some pretty funky guitar sounds with it, and it works great with bass as well.

You will need to take some time to dial in to fit your attack on guitar. It works for you when you work with it.

Decided this was what I needed, rather than the funky monkey or @wah. Was not disappointed. Intially thought there was little effect (like a previous reviewer), but just had to hit a chord hard with the guitar volume set where I like it on position 2 (neck humbucker wired in parallel), or position 1 neck humbucker wired in series for single note lines (which is as loud as hitting chords in position 2), then set the sensitivity to open the effect on the hard hit, which for me is cranked all the way clockwise. Crank the Q, delay fairly low to close the effect fast soon after the hit for full "duck". Then set tone to taste for desired tone at full quack. Instant funk/Guthrie. Can't see why I'd pay over the odds for a used WR5. Ended up with a few Mooer pedals and they all do the the job as far as my ears can tell.

I am very impressed with this pedal - I get the great Jerry Garcia sound without paying the bigger bucks for a QTron

Works perfectly and responds well to your playing, ie the more you ‘dig’ in, the more the effect kicks in. Very adjustable without being complicated. Nice small size.
