Olympic Adapter Sleeve- Converts 1" into 1.875" (Regular into Olympic) with collar

Product installed easily on my 1" plate bar and seems to be of reasonably good quality. Problem is that my expensive plate stabilizing clamps for my 2" straight and curl bars is too big to fit this undersized (2" ???) diameter adapter. They provide one of those el-cheapo clamps that are frustrating to use. Item should be exactly 2" in diameter. Not at all recommended.

Needed a replacement collar after breaking the plastic one that came with my bench. This one has a nice locking bolt and seems to be well made. Works great with a decent load of weight also

Product description says ‘Olympic adapter sleeve’, but this product is smaller than the standard ‘Olympic’ size. Olympic size = 50mm. This product is 47mm. Olympic bar clamps will not clamp the bar.

Buyer Beware--The description says that it converts a barbell to accommodate Olympic size weights. It does not. There is only one so it converts HALF of a barbell, which of course is as useful as ordering shoes and your package when it arrives contains one shoe.
