At 51 I slipped and fell down my back deck steps. 6 months later the swelling started and I found out my knees are both bone on bone with arthritis under both knee caps ....one worse than the other and facing the only alternative ....knee replacement. I wanted to avoid that any way possible but the inflammation was causing so much discomfort it made movement difficult. I work in an office sitting at a desk and this only made my knees more stiff so the problem became worse. I tried a lot of different supplements, physical therapy and cortisone shots. Nothing helped for any length of time. I did some research and all the reviews on mendamine were so good I decided to try it. About 2-3 weeks in I noticed all the sudden I wasn't having the swelling and inflammation as often and when it flaired up, it was manageable. My knees felt stronger and I was up moving more !! I started with 6 pills a day and honestly I have seen such an improvement, I cant see myself being without it. I'm able to work in my yard, stand and cook meals for my family, even go up and down stairs "carefully" without feeling my knee is coming unhinged !!! I am a true hardcore skeptic..... But MENDAMINE has literally been a life saver for me. Most supplements are so expensive and people, THEY JUST DONT WORK. I'm still taking 4-6 pills daily and just received my 2nd bottle. MENDAMINE is surprising inexpensive and well worth the results.

I began taking glucosamine on my doctor's recommendation about ten years ago when my knees started hurting, but it didn't help noticeably. I was at the point where I was clinging to the railing and easing myself down the three porch steps just to minimize the pain, so my doctor recommended I take a combination with chondroitin and MSM. I looked online, found several with those ingredients, but this one, Mendamine, was the only one that got rave reviews, so I ordered it from Bioprosper Labs. Within a week of taking 1 tablet 3 times a day, I was able to walk freely down the steps again. After seven months of taking it, I was getting a little more pain again, so I increased the dose to 4 tablets a day (they recommend 3 to 6 depending on the severity of your pain). Since then, I've increased the dose to 6/day, and am completely pain free - I can even kneel briefly, for the first time in years. I didn't order it quite in time one month, and had to cut back to 3/day. Oh, what a difference! I'm back on the higher usage now, and am feeling wonderful. Update: Bioprosper stopped selling Mendamine directly, but I found it on Amazon. It is now available as DrFormula Joint Support in the Subscribe and Save program, so I get a bottle every month automatically. It's a bit pricey, yes, but it's well worth it for the sake of mobility and freedom from pain. I never want to risk going off it again!

So far, so good. I took Trigosamine for years - it became more & more difficult to find. I know there were changes with the company during some of those years. I ran out of my stockpile & have been searching for a replacement since. This product, Mendamine Glucosamine Chondroiton MSM and More contains many of the same ingredients as Trigosamine, plus has a few more. I'm not sure which ingredients help, but have used glucosamine/chondroiton supplements in the past which were not effective. I need more than those two ingredients. Other name brand products don't help much either. I thought I found a replacement with Osteo Bi-Flex Ease, but, for me, it wasn't as quite effective as Trigosamine. This Medamine product works just as well as Trigosamine for me & I am happy with the results...so far, anyway. (Through the years, my internet searches for Trigosamine yielded very little information...well, not the info I was looking for. My latest search yielded a blurb about Trigosamine not containing all the ingredients that were on its label which caused me to wonder if the new manufacturer began leaving some out. Not having any way of knowing one way or the other, it might be the reason I can't find the product anymore. Maybe it got pulled.) I have arthritis in my knee & fingers. So far Mendamine is helping both issues. If your pain is mild, it's suggested to take 3 capsules a day & increase up to 6 a day for more pain. My knee is better - going up/down stairs is easier again. I still don't go up/down quickly & I still hold the railing, but everything is improving. I've been averaging about 4 tablets/day. Two in the morning, 1 in the afternoon & 1 at bedtime. I've only been using this for about a week & began showing improvement almost immediately. I'm not sure why, I took Trigosamine for about 5 months before noticing improvement. Maybe this worked more quickly for me because I just ran out of Trigosamine about 2 weeks ago. From past experience with a similar product, I know that I must continue taking this supplement...long term. Whenever, I run out, my knee gets painful. Also, from past experience with a similar product, I should be able to reduce the amount of tablets I take daily. I'm hoping to get down to 2 a day. I rated this at 4 stars & will update my review if my experience changes. By the way, I purchased this product in the smaller size & later added the larger size to my Subscribe & Save subscriptions. It has also improved my out look on life. knowing i can walk long distances with out pain. this is an amazing product
