I love this pillow. It gives great support. I like that it supports my mid back and not just the lower back. The only thing that I don't care for is the straps. I use this in my car and if I switch to the passenger seat for my spouse to drive strapping and unstrapping becomes a royal pain. I don't want to leave the straps flopping around because I don't want it to tear my seats. I am going to cut the straps off for this reason. I can see how the straps could be useful maybe for an office chair. The comfort of the pillow is great. I did not notice a smell like others have mentioned.

Offers great support for lower back issues, as well as upper. I'm a tall man at 6'8" and have issues finding good computer chairs with a high back or adjustable lumbar. There is a review mentioning the pillow doesn't help as much featured like in the photos, but flipping it upside down so the thinner end is at the bottom of the spine works much better for myself.It's memory foam, so there is a memory foam smell for about a week. It goes away quickly.Material holds up well. The mesh is soft and the foam remains firm and doesn't sag like other memory foam pillows.

I'd been in the market for something like this for a few weeks and after lazily scanning my options and seeing the reviews of similar products, I was cautious to buy. It seemed like the number one complaint with back support cushions like this were that they flatten out or get more uncomfortable the longer you sit in it.I pulled the trigger on this one and it has helped immensely. I suffer from chronic back pain due to scoliosis and I have to work from home at a sit/stand desk all day long. This allows me to sit in my computer when I need to, and helps me maintain my straight posture, while ensuring I don't hurt my back in the process. There is a strap to hold the support in place as well. I’ve recently experienced my back going out and this pillow is far superior to the roll provided in PT. I have used this on harder backed chairs with great success. Just like any other lumbar support, I don’t think this would do well on softer seating. That being said, it isn’t obtrusive enough to pose problems in the car and seems perfectly suitable for driving even in bucket seats.Similar products tend to have an extreme chemical type odor but, this does not seem to have such an obnoxious odor. I aired out for one day without challenge.The only challenge I would imagine for this product is, it may not offer the support needed/desired for larger folks. I am roughly 185 and 5’5 and it works perfectly for me.

I purchased this item from amazon and just received it today. I realize this review is pretty quick considering i have had it less than a day.I bought it for my office chair at work. I was excited to get it and put it on there right away. I was sitting on the edge of my seat for like 5 min trying to sit propper thinking to myself this seems wrong... then i realize oh, i must have it upside down. so i turned it around and sat. my booty was pushed back farther in my hair and i was no longer sitting on the edge and i felt like although the top was pushing my back forward, if i would sit up tall it felt like i was probably sitting correctly. After about an hour my back started to hurt a bit, which could be because i am now sitting correctly and my back needs to adjust but I went to amazon and looked at the product page and realized I actually had it right the first time and i now have it upside down. the base is probably a good 4 inches deep, so I am not sure how you are suppose to be able to sit on your chair correctly. also, I feel like if it was used in the right way the top of my back towards my shoulder blades would be leaning back, i am really unsure how it was suppose to work like that. I will try using it for a few more days but I have a feeling this will be headed back to amazon. It is a weird design but it does appear to be good quality.

This bMemory foam back support is FABULOUS!! I have had back surgery and still have issues. Taking long drives in vehicle is very painful for me. We took a 4 1/2 hour drive and this support was so great, I would highly RECOMMEND this product for people with back issues or just in general. It helps in the upper back all the way down. GREAT PRODUCT!!

Bad, bad, design. Hurts back, uncomfortable when used with office chair.

I bought this pillow for my Prius as it has poor lumbar support. The cushion is really comfortable and definitely supports my lower back. The straps do fit around the seat (see photo) but I like the cushion a little lower so I use it unstrapped. I didn’t notice any odor when I opened it. Overall I am very pleased, though I have only had it a few days. I am 5’4 and it works perfectly for me.
