I have a conch piercing that is 10 weeks old. It was healing beautifully until after the swelling went down and it snagged a big because the post is now long. I developed a nasty piercing bump in the front and back, I was so bummed. No, these are not keloids but are actually temporary inflammation and hypertrophy of irritated tissue. Keloids are a different problem. I cannot get to my piercer for a downsize due to back to back hurricanes in Tampa so had to find a temporary solution. I did some online research and came across this kind of product but another brand. I didn’t care for the brand so came to Amazon looking for an alternative and found these. These were less expensive, I got more and while they are slightly stiff they seem to actually be silicone. They are like a donut that the post passes through the hole and because I was doing this myself, my piercing was still fresh and I needed to put them on both sides of the post, I cut a slit in it and slid it around the post front and back of the piercing instead. They have stayed on since and not fallen off, it’s been a week. The both of them together made the piercing fit nice and snug, just right to make it move less. I’m certain that the length of the post and movement is what was causing the bump. After 2 days with these in, the bumps disappeared. I think it’s a combination of pressure from the disc (which is what my research says is how it is supposed to work) as well as the stabilization of the jewelry. The bump is a symptom of the underlying problem and these addressed it perfectly. These definitely healed my bumps and my jewelry fits right now. I am going to leave them on until I can get to my piercer to downsize. They are nearly invisible and comfortable, easy to use and the price is great. You get multiple sizes to accommodate your needs.

I would suggest anyone with piercings have a pack of these around. Even if you think you're not gonna need them, you never know and they avoid those ugly trauma bumps your piercing can get when hit too much. I needed them for my second nose piercing which kept coming out right after it got done due to only having a stud with a straight bar in. Because it kept coming out during the healing process, it started to develop one of those bumps so I bought a pack of these. I put one on the outside and one on the inside of my nose, and it worked at flattening it out which was a life saver for me.

Literally a miracle item. I’m using it for my rook piercing. I had a massive irritation numb and it went flat within a week of having this on!! I’ve now just kept it on for the past couple months and I no longer have a painful, irritated piercing! Make sure to still clean underneath it well!

Love the different sizes. It comes in a clear little container so its easy to keep track of them. Exactly as picture shows. Easy to apply to behind my earrings and give me that little extra snug feel im looking for. Defiantly recommend if you have an earring thats loose and need a little more snug.

They are kind of small holes to but a piercing through but I still managed to use them and make a good use of them so I give them a good review.

I seen reviews saying its small. You have to stretch to fit. I figure this out Last night lol. They go over my plugs. They hold them up. Im trying down size. They stayed in my ears all night

One of my piercings were bothering me and I put this on and my irritation bump went away. I took it off and went back to the piercer just so she can check on it and she literally took out the same box of piercing discs

I recently celebrated my Birthday in texas. I had to take a flight there and back obviously but what I didn't except was my medusa peircing to swell. So I went to my peircer and had them change the bar length but the swelling on the inside didn't subside even after 2 weeks of constant cleaning and warm compresses, most likely the peircing kept irritating It 😑. I looked up other options and the peircing disc was recommended. I have had it on for 2 days now and so far it's amazing my peircing feels much better and it no long is sinking in and rubbing on the irritated skin. Ive seen a difference even in the couple of days ive had it on and so far it's working perfect. Now I cut a slit in it because it's a pain to take the medusa out but it works great. It slips around the peircing snuggly and doesn't come off. I am very pleased.
