Bought to try and tidy up sockets where we have extension cords. Arrived well packaged. Picked this model over many other cheap Chinese as it specifically claims to meet RoHS and CE BS1363. We bought four and they are all identical and all work. The trick of being able to twist the plug around so that the sockets are either above or below the socket is good. We have put all of them underneath the socket. I tried above, and it does work, but if the plugs are heavy it does pull it away from the wall which I did not like. Underneath the sockets rest comfortably against the wall. There are also screws that can be extended to rest against the wall. It definitely looks neater. There are individual on off buttons for each socket. They illuminate when on. The build quality appears good but of course is meaningless unless the internal wiring is to spec. Fingers crossed. Overall, very pleased, seems excellent value for money.

The 2nd of the original sockets is used for a timer switch, and being able to rotate the adapter means that it fits next to the timer easily.The individual switches (actually press buttons) are good allowing lesser used items to be switched off.CONS:The adapter is not as sturdy as I expected for the price.It is not suitable if you plan to remove plugs regularly as the whole adapter comes out of the socket very easily.The socket wobbles if something on the countertop touches it.I would not recommend this if it were in a highly visible spot. It is bulky and unattractive in use.GENERAL:Do I recommend this? Yes, because it's usefulness outweighs the criticisms.Would I buy it again? Yes, I plan to.

I originally bought an extension type multiplug, but couldn’t get it to plug in because the baseboard lip interfered with attachment. I then bought this item, which extends upward instead of downward. It works like a charm, and is more attractive as there isn’t an extra cable creating clutter.

The media could not be loaded. I was really looking forward to the fact i I could turn on & off each plug separately. This is not the case, for the one that arrived to me. The buttons don’t work.Everything else is fine. Rotation works, plugs in okay, it works.

My first one lasted a few years before it stopped working, but I liked its convenience enough to replace it. The new unit functions well, and the independent switches and surge protection are definitely useful. Just keep in mind you may need a backup down the road.
