Excellent for the price. Paid for itself already. I was able to program 5 IMMO Chip keys and 2 Smart Fobs for my 2008 Nissan Rogue SL with proximity system and Immobilizer. Now I have keyless entry working and can start my vehicle while keys are in the vehicle without having to put the key in the ignition. I have keyless entry, smart Fobs, but no push to start. But I can just turn the ignition to start. A local locksmith wanted to charge me 75 just to code my smart keys, but not the Fobs, and not my keys with the Fobs on the head. For this particular IMMO/Ignition system the FOB Head Keys will only work as a door and ignition key. You can not program the remotes with this model Rogue. It needs the Smart Fobs. I will go buy 3 more Smart Fobs to have as backup Fobs. The FOB Head Keys are now my spare keys in case I lose my Smart Key Fobs. I just received the ThinkDiag 2 device a few hours ago to test it's IMMO capabilities. I have not had a chance to use it as a scan tool yet. You will have to use an Android or Apple device, best to use a smart phone and download the application from your respective Play Store. The unit plugs into your vehicle's OBD port and then you connect to the device via Bluetooth. It appears that it only comes with 1 year of advanced services already included. I do not know the price for additional years yet. But for the price this is Wondertastic. If using it to program IMMO, keys and FOBs for compatible vehicles it will pay for itself with just programming 1 or 2 keys and/or FOBs. Programming can run you $50 to $500 per key or FOB depending on the shop, technician, locksmith or dealership that you visit. I had ordered a $500 key programming device along with this one. But after this one did all I needed, I was able to cancel my order for the $500 programmer. You get a lot of features with this device. I cannot wait to test it as a scan tool and see what else it can handle on my and friends' vehicles. Excellent Automotive Diagnostic Device and Key and FOB IMMO programmer for it's price. Bought this on the chance the info was actually correct and that it could enroll chip keys for my 2025 Nissan Rogue Select. IT DOES! The setup, registration, software downloads were simple enough and work flawlessly on my iPhone. The erase/enroll steps for the immobilizer were clear and easy to follow (be sure to write down the passwords and any other numbers it captures, so you have them for the steps immediately following). Calls around for keys/programming ran from $125 to $250 PER KEY TO CUT AND PROGRAM! I bought four chip keys (be sure to match the FCC ID and Chip number to your original key), cut them myself, and all four enrolled in the immobilizer flawlessly, FIRST TIME! I can’t speak for everyone or every vehicle, but I can say that just about everything else for the 2015 Nissan Rogue Select “J”-VIN has been a challenge to match parts and harnesses for, but this little baby made keys a no-brainer!

I too considered the negative reviews and decided to try anyway. I emailed ThinkCar and got confirmation that I could do a 2008 Prius ABS brake bleed and linear offset relearn for our ABS actuator replacement project (yes, the $1200 part, or the $2700 repair at your local shop). It can be done. The mechanial part is actually not hard, just tedious and time consuming. It's the post repair configuration that gets you. I noted in the product FAQ's that functions were not as "robust" on IOS, so I purchased an Android tablet. Software would not install, said incompatible. First flag. Installed software manually on the tablet no issues. Initialized the software for Toyota and successfully registered and connected to car. Proceeded to run the ABS brake bleed but it would not finish successfully, crashing at various points or finishing "unsuccessful". Four hours of retrying and searching for answers, no luck. No online support, email or phone only during work hours m-f. Not taking a day off to get the runaround as described in other negative reviews. We then proceeded to use the mini vci cable and cloned tech stream software also purchased off Amazon. (Which involved building a windows 7 pc for compatibility, and downloading an ancient copy of tech stream from a forum because the software included in the Amazon product was bogus.) Which, believe it or not, actually worked. There are other required functions in order to actually complete the job: resets, clear the various DTC's due to the system being dissembled, and a final reset to clear the brake, abs and vsc dash lights, which I'm not sure the ThinkDiag could accomplish, never made it that far. This seems like a great product for DIY work. Affordable at $135, a great advantage over other products - which there appear to be none. I spent several hours and contacted several vendors trying to find a diagnostic scanner to do this work and it appears there are none, save the several thousand dollar commerical products, or possibly the Harbor Freight scanner at $900. Sorry folks, very enticing but not ready for prime time.

Works perfect Quite a lot of details for this price Only problem I thought that when I get it then I don't have to pay any other charges but after an year I had to buy 3 months/ 6 months / 1 year or 3 years plan for software I bought 1 year plan for 100 USD

Estoy contento con mi compra, el paquete llegó sellado, la presentación es elegante caja bien cuidada, la funda tiene calidad duradera es perfecta para la conservación del escáner, Viene sencillamente con un cable obd2 suficiente para cualquier auto del 95-23, las funciones internas son demasiadas, no solo es línea de datos y lectura de códigos, si no que tiene funciones de un escáner incluso de alta gama, como acción de componentes entre otros, está genial no puedo pedir más por lo que pagué, y creo que el único punto en contra sería el tener que renovar licencia al año aunque vale completamente la pena hacerlo, otra cosa sería se ocupa wifi para iniciar un diagnóstico aunque hoy en día eso no es un gran problema. Le doy 5 de 5 estrellas.

Although still learning all of the functions possible with this scanner the price was very good for the functions I needed right away. The cost was absorbed by the savings found by doing the work myself. It will no doubt be very useful as time goes on. Easy to use and works with your device whether that be phone, tablet or laptop and allows you to be at the hood, or underneath, or at the back and still have the functionality. Great purchase. Important to know your limits of knowledge and take all safety precautions. Proper protective gear and safe use of jacks, jack stands, and other equipment in case of unexpected things.
