Nice backpack carryon
Used this backpack forA while when traveling with my laptop. Kept in protected easily.Has a lot of compartments for storage. This is a prefect size if you are not carrying a lot ofBulky things. It is durable and the padding is adequate for protecting the computer and also for the shoulder straps. I only recently replaced this with a larger bag for my regular use because I carry a lot with me that I don’t want to place in a checked bag. On trips that don’t require me to take as much, this is my bag. Zippers and everything about it has held up well in the last 2 years.

Super tough and durable backpack
The is a pretty nice backpack. The zippers are incredibly strong and beefy - everything else will fail before the zippers. The material is strong and has lots of carry options and handles. My only real gripe is the pockets and lack thereof. The outside pocket is almost unusable if the backpack is pretty full. A side pocket that can be accessed would be better. Then there are two main pockets. If you don't like a lot of pockets, then this is the bag for you. If you like more pockets to organize things better, you might feel a little let down. I really thought I would be able to deal with it but I quickly realized I can't so I returned it. It's such a shame since this is a bag that will last a long time and has so many upsides. If this company ever comes out with this same bag with more pockets that are efficient, I'll be the first one to buy one.

Purchased December 2021, good-looking and sturdy design
I've had this green KAKA backpack for 3 years and counting. It's very sturdy and easy on the eyes. I've gotten compliments over this bag several times from random strangers over the years (material and color make it look premium). KAKA could probably sell this bag for around $85 (I bought for around $45) and I would still say it was good value. IMO it's the best-made backpack I have ever owned, and I used to lug SwissGear or SwissArmy backpacks while in school that would tear open after 1-2 years of use. This one is still going strong, still looks shiny and bright, and I as I mentioned before, it's sturdy and well made - no tears or signs of wear at all. I use the backpack everyday as my main work bag going to and from work and take it with me nearly every time I travel. Often I cram my (clean) gym accessories or clothes, or sometimes containers of snacks, in the front compartment separate from my books or laptops in the back compartment. The bag is very deep (height), but sometimes I wish it were wider or longer. The only thing I would add to it is a second side mesh holder for another water bottle or container. Otherwise, zero complaints and it honestly looks like I could use it for another 3 years without any issues!

Perfect weekender with lots of options
Exactly what my son needed for his traveling for work. He has to travel every eight weeks and needs only two nights of clothes. He also has to carry his laptop and other electronics. This bag has a full individual laptop compartment that is fully padded on both sides. In another zippered compartment, there is a separate sleeve for a tablet. There are additional zippered compartments for storage space. He prefers only carrying one bag and this one is large enough to carry everything he needs. He really likes the fact that he can adjust the bag for his current needs. In the airport, he prefers carry the bag as a backpack. All he needs to do is unzip the cover and roll, then adhere to the top and attach with Velcro. One other nice feature is the flap over the top zipper at the top of the backpack. This helps secure the zipper so others can't easily get in the pack when you have if on your back. When he is actually inflight, he prefers closing the flap which hides the backpack straps. Now the straps won't get caught on your legs or the seat of the plane. When in the side briefcase mode, the bag can be carried with the included shoulder strap. It's easy to carry and looks very professional. One problem in this layout is the Velcro is left exposed at the side of the bag. The manufacturer chose to use the rough side of the Velcro and it is exposed. This Velcro seems to adhere to anything that gets near. Can be a nuisance. It's a very nice weekender bag that meets a variety of needs.

Very large back, cavernous in fact. Not a lot of organizational features just several large pocketsHeavy when emptyIt does convert to a duffle but there is a zippered cover to hide the backpack straps when you do this, but when in “backpack mode” it has to be rolled up and sits on top of the straps so looks oddNot much “structure” so when you put it done it just collapses into a pile versus holding itself upThat said a pretty good value and if you need a travel bag with a fair amount of storage that can still fit under a plane or train seat it works
