Bright White Case Lights
This product exceeded my expectations. There is an on/off switch that mounts at the expansion slots. There is a connector wire that plugs into the inverter. There are 2 plugs on inverter that run to the tube lights.PROS:1. easy to install2. nice and bright compared to other products3. nice long cable from on/off switch to inverterCONS:1. You can only place the 2 lights a limited distance apart. The 2 cables from the inverter to the tube lights could be a few inches longer. If you have a full tower case, you will need to plan carefully. If you have a full tower case, I would recommend buying 2 of these (4 tube lights & 2 on/off switches)I had purchased 2m led rope lights that did not light up the case adequately.I purchased these tube lights as a brighter solution...much brighter than the led rope lights.

Easy to install, very bright.
I bought these instead of an LED rope because I thought this would give off a more even light, and not look spotty like some people said that they saw with the LEDs. I just installed these and already they make my case look better. The only issue that I had was finding a spot for the little blue box that splits the connections was fairly difficult. The wires on the cathodes were pretty short, so I had to mount the box close. But the box is about an inch thick so I couldn't mount it to the back of my case where it couldn't be spotted. So I ended up tucking it away inside the case where hopefully no one will spot it. I feel if the box was smaller or the cables were just a few inches longer, this could have been way easier and I could have kept everything out of sight. I got the white lights, and they are very bright. They light up the case and then some. I could honestly see myself getting tired of how bright it is, but I do have both lights hooked up. Might be a plus for some, maybe a con for others. If I bought a colored kit, it would probably be a little easier on the eyes. Overall, for what I paid, I would buy again. An LED kit may have been easier to install, but these look awesome. If you have a rig that you are proud to put on display, these are the lights for you.Pros:-Easy install.-Very bright, almost to the point of distracting. Could be a con for some.-Price for quality.Cons:-Short wires-Splitter box is fairly large.

Amazon Malfunction and So-So Cheap Lighting
I ordered the Dual Tube version about 5 days for a comp (banking on my Prime membership to get here with plenty of time to spare... yeah, I know, I know).Opened it up yesterday when it arrived and... it was the Single Tube version. Ugh. Really? So, I went on to work and got in touch with Amazon via phone on my lunch break. I explained the situation to the service rep. She admitted that this would not have been Pricesmile's (seller) fault, but indeed Amazon's faulty picking. Due to this, she offered me two choices: Full refund and returning the item, or partial refund and keep the item. I thought I could maybe keep it at half price, then just buy another down the line and add it in. Not being absolutely sure, I told her I'd check it after work to see if I could do that -- therefore making it easier on both parties -- and would call them back today with an answer. She said that was fine, then sent an e-mail to me explaining that she'd left the information of my case on file so when I called back today we could pick back up where we left off.Last night after work, I checked the item out and, after some price checking online, I realized that adding another tube to this unit (even if I kept the single tube unit for half price) would cost more than it would be worth. Best bet would be to get a full refund, ship the faulty pick back, and try getting another Dual Tube unit with the hope that they'd get it right this time. Either way I went, the PC case was going to be unlit or halfway lit for the weekend comp... so that was blown at this point, regardless.Today, again on lunch at work, I just contacted customer service again. I received a different sales rep, which I expected. After I explained the situation to her, about having info left from yesterday on there and wanting to go through with the expedited full refund and shipping the item back, she goes to speak with a manager and puts me on hold for an ample amount of time. When she comes back, she gives me the same two options... except now the refund won't be expedited -- I have to print out the label, set up a UPS pick-up or take it to a drop off, and then only when they receive it will they process the refund. WHAT?! What changed about the deal overnight??? I was hit with a different story today as I received yesterday. Yesterday's "expedited" was starting a refund NOW when the label gets e-mailed to me, and now today "expedited" is defined as 2-4 business days after the returned item is received by Amazon.Bad service. Backtracking your policies is just flat-out bad service. After admitting defeat, I agreed to just go with the full refund and get out of the bloody mess. Then we get to the return shipping options. It has to be UPS scheduled pick-up or I have to take it to a drop-off location. Well, the nearest drop-off location here is around an hour away (the actual Amazon facility is closer here!), so that's out of the question. And the last time I tried to schedule a UPS pickup, they told me that due to my rural locale I couldn't schedule for my location and would have to meet them somewhere in a small allotted time frame that clashes with my work schedule. Couldn't happen. So I asked her if there were any other shipping options for the return. I found myself on hold again while she pow-wowed with the manager, and she said they could BUT I would have to pay for the shipping. On their screw up. Are you mad, lass?I just admitted defeat altogether... there was no winning here. I guess I'll just print the bloody thing out and take the package an hour out of my way to a drop-off locale (because gas is so cheap, ya' know?), and set that 2-hr drive's time aside SOON because she said they would double charge me if they don't receive the item within 30 days (how? why? this makes no damned sense, I'm getting a REFUND not a REPLACEMENT... WTF?). And only then can I begin my wait to get my $11 back (they didn't say whether this refund will include the taxes that have freshly been implemented to all purchases within WV since we have an Amazon building located here now, but I don't have much faith in it). Maybe. Unless that package gets lost and I get charged friggin TWICE, which at this point seems completely feasible amidst the insanity. So, no, I'm not pleased. Maybe I'll change this review once I purchase this Dual Unit from a place I can count on a bit more (Newegg, FrozenCPU, Xoxide are great places if you're looking for PC case mods/accessories... I wish I would have taken my own advice right off the bat, but I thought Prime would take care of me :( ). I realize this review doesn't state a lot about the actual product, but I can't judge this particular product yet because it is NOT what I received. What I can tell you about the single unit is the inverter box is large, has sharp-edged flash where the plastic edges connect, does not have sound activation, and is a horrendous ugly baby blue that I couldn't see fitting any interior PC color theme. Worse yet, the wiring is not long enough to properly hide it anywhere relevant (like an empty drive bay, no way it's reaching up there even on a small case) and the box is too thick and wide to tuck behind most motherboard trays or along the inside edges of the case. The switch itself for the PCI slot seemed alright, although I could see it shorting out some MBs depending on location. The light bulb itself got warmer than I thought it would faster than I thought it would, although it gives off a decent amount of light. I tried tucking it up at the top, but the 360 degree approach wastes a lot of light and only a portion shined down from the upper case corner not really lighting much up. When I tried it on the bottom, same deal... it lit up my PSU like the 4th of July, but not much else.Yes, this review may be a bit biased due to the crappy service and turncoat refund policies. Yes, it's only $11. But it's the principle of the matter, that this can be standard practice for people paying for "Prime" (as if there are any benefits, really). It is a cheap unit, though, and for basic lighting it should be enough (IF they send you a dual unit, beware, because the single bulb doesn't do much)... but I believe I'm going to look elsewhere in both product AND supplier.

Short cables, poor mounting options.
The mounting options with this light kit is bad at best. The little velcro stickers won't last more than a couple of hours until the light falls. The wires are also very short and you have to do some planning if you want to use them at the top and bottom.I have a medium sized case (Corsair D650) and it just fit. If you use zip ties to hold it securely you should be ok. Once you actually have it mounted however, it's a great light. Works good and provides clean even lighting.

BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT
Did I mention they are bright? For $10 including shipping, I am highly impressed. I purchased them to light up my Corsair 600t case. What isn't shown is the blue inverter box, small back panel on/off switch and the molex power connector. Dead simple to install. I think it was designed for older computers though, the back panel plate is too large for my modern case. Not a deal breaker though, if you are nifty you can just remount the switch. The actual wiring, switch and blue box appears to be lower in quality (90's era) but they get the job done. You also need some double sided tape, velcro or zipties to mount the lights. I plan to go full DIY by putting the blue box and power switch into a 5 1/4 drive bay to dress it up. Oh by the way, they are very bright!

Inverter Died
I installed this to my trunk so it could have more light because the factory light was too dark. After a few minutes the inverter blew. Now I'm out 8 bucks just because of this. The seller should sell inverters individually so I don't have to buy the whole kit again.
