Nice car wash sponge but...
First, let me say the high points on the reviews from other buyers is what convinced me to purchase and try this sponge as I wasn't too "keen" on buying something like this that could retain grit and dirt in the "tenacles" of the chenille microfiber not to mention the sponge itself. Secondly, I understand why after buying, why all the favorable high points as the company themselves make an effort to reach out direct to you to ensure your satisfaction and there certainly isn't anything wrong with that as they state they truly want satisfaction and will make it right if otherwise. So with that being the case, here goes. The sponge itself is very absorbent. It holds a TON of water and soapy solution which is good. The microfiber tenacles do a good job of washing large surface areas. The mesh netting acoss the backside of the microfiber side does a fair job to remove somewhat more stubborn spots. And "fair" meaning just that, fairly reasonable without scratching. I think the mesh could be a bit stronger which would allow it to clean better without so much elbow grease. I have a tree that sheds sap and the sap collects dirt to leave a grayish and somewhat spotty reside on my vehicle. This sponge did a fair to minus fair job in removing. I had to put some muscle into cleaning whereas with the previous sponge I had which had a stronger, denser and stronger sponge surface on one side (rather than the mesh netting) and it would remove such reside as well as bug remains better than this one.Another negative that was very apparent almost immediately is that the sponge itself is really large and thick (remember I said it holds a ton of soapy water?). And because of it being so large and thick, it won't allow you to get in and around smaller places well at all such as underneath the vehicle door handles, between bumper recess, running board recesses and body panels as well as up close to other moldings and weatherstripping. It reminds me what you would get from an "auto" car wash (that uses large swiping rollers and dangling fibers) which then defeats the purpose of a washing-by-hand and that's why I like and much prefer the hand washing of my vehicles. I get my vehicle clean without leaving and just glancing over smaller areas then leaving somewhat dirty crevices and areas not so clean. This is especially critical to me when I'm washing before performing a wax job. The sponge does hand rinse out surpising well. When I do use, I hope it will continue to do that and it's not just because it's new that it rinses well. I do think it is imperative that you machine wash the sponge (probaby best with your car towels in order to clean and remove grit and dirt that can be trapped within the chenille microfiber. And if you have a truly dirty vehicle (and I mean one that has grime, grit, dirt and mud), you'll probably want to maching wash this out afterwards as I can't image the microfiber tenacles could possibly keep from trapping a lot of that grit and dirt inspite of the best hand rinsing and wringing out you could hope to do.So overall I would give this car wash sponge a minus 4. Although it does hold and allow you to apply more than ample soap suds and rinses out after use well, I think the sponge has an almost too flimsy mesh to be very effrective and it is just too darn thick and too big to become a favorite car wash sponge. So there you have it Relentless Brands, this is my fair and "good with the bad" review of your car wash sponge after an initial use. Let me know if you can help make your sponge be better and be a favorite car wash sponge of all time! You know how to contact me if you do.

When you use a mitt, but never as a mitt.
I’ve been using microfiber mitts for year. But I rarely put my hand in it. So when I needed a replacement I decided to give this one a try. One side is the same as my mitt. The other has a weave that won’t scratch, but is useful where you need a bit more than those soft microfiber fingers can provide. The thing has a sponge lining and holds more wash solution than the mitt could. It’s also nice and large making washing your car quick and easy.Very satisfied with this purchase.

Warning - No 100% refund on this item
Being a regular Amazon customer since 1998 - I have not returned but a handful of items during that time. This item was bought in error while trying to help husband figure out what to get to wash the cars - once he saw it out of the box it was not what he had in mind. To return - I MUST pay $5.99 minimum to be refunded my $15.00. Product looks good and may work for many - but I just want folks to be warned about the refund. I will be donating this product.

Soft and safe for paint - quality is just ok
Bought this to wash my new Alfa Romeo - don't want to use a regular car brush and I don't even take it through car washes unless it's touch free. This was a good value, soft and safe on the paint. Doesn't leave swirls and less risk for scratches. Nothing worse than damaging the paint while trying to wash your car.I've used this three times and it works very well. The mesh side of the sponge used for removing bugs and tar already has developed a couple tears. Don't know how well this will holdup for more than one Summer of washing the car once a week.

Best Boat Sponge ever
I have three boats, 26' Skipjack, 8' Zodiak & 14' Boston Whaler. We use the Zodiak & Whaler to shuttle people from the Skipjack to the shore when in Avalon. Purchased a Microfiber sponge at the beginning of summer to keep the dinghy clean. It worked so well and I was so impressed, I gave it to a boating friend for his boat & purchased 3 more. It's that good. When you discover a great product, you want to share with friends.I dip the sponge in the water, ring out the sponge and it picks up dirt off the fiberglass (or soft side) like a magnet. It's better than a Micro Fiber mitt because it this absorbs lots of water. Cleanup time has been cut in half.

Not durable - only good for single usr
It is great as a one use car wash sponge. It is soft and works great. The only problem is the 2 nd time I used it, just as it started to get it wet, the sponge started coming apart. I think most of us that purchase this item hope to use it for a while. I do not recommend it.

Bulky car wash sponge
If this were thinner, it would be great. As it is, it's too bulky to fit into nooks (like wheel wells). Also, once it absorbs water, it's really heavy. Feels like trying to wash a car with a brick. While I can't recommend this product, I must say the company's customer service is exemplary.

Makes car-washing fun!
Well, not really fun but... I just got a new car and after the first week I wanted to wash it at home. I found some rags and some car-was fluid and everything worked out well, however I ended up with a bucket of dirty rags and thought there must be something better. I found this product and it looked so much better than a bucket of rags and it certainly did the job. In no way is washing my car any fun, but it certainly made the job a bit easier...
