Finally, a book that talks business but from the reality point of view, Tony has built astonishing things himself. He is telling us about every single thing you can face in such a journey in detail and most importantly in a real fashion.Unlike other business books which are written for motivation and contain many fictional scenarios, the reality in this book makes you realize a ton of things, it was a very excitement read and I enjoyed it to the limits.If you just curios about how great products like iPod, iPhone, and many other earlier inventions that lived way earlier, or if you want to have the advice that will actually help your business to stay on track, this book is just the right one for you

Finished this book in a few days. Very easy to read and has many important lessons. A must read for designers and product managers.

So many people want to be entrepreneurs but only a few of them are true builders - of products, teams, cultures. I’ve heard of Tony Fadell’s name mentioned over the years and knew that he was one of those people who was really behind the success of Silicon Valley - brilliant, driven engineer/designers with the war stories that comes with it. When I saw that Fadell’s had a book I instantly ordered the hardcover for me and a few of my employees because I knew that it was one of those books that we’d want to keep on our shelves as we are building our company. It’s packed with backstories about the most iconic products ever to emerge from SV, as well as a lot of what I would consider “insider” knowledge of how to build world class products, brand experiences, teams, and even careers in technology.I’ve got Tony’s book right beside the Steve Jobs biography where it belongs.

I truly enjoyed reading it. Loved the background stories & anecdotes that were used as examples to formulate suggestions, advice & hard pointers. There is a smidge of "coolness" in the writing which fits perfectly to the huge success of the products Tony Fadell was involved in, which makes it easier & even entertaining to digest some of the more difficult points.I highly recommend it for aspiring or even experienced entrepreneurs (& intrapreneurs).
