Very informative, reveals a lot about the situation and history, that is not commonly published and known by many people.

This was a great book that u learned so much from. Before reading this book, I knew little about their histories. It certainly made me feel like I understand the countries troubles. I certainly recommend reading this book as it is so interesting. It's a great introduction and made me feel like I want to learn more. It was well written and easy to understand. I love this series of books as it overs many countries across the globe. They are a brilliant starting point. They give you plenty to think about.So much praise goes out to the author and publishers for bringing us this very interesting book. I am certainly looking forward to reading the Greece book next.

This easy-to-read relatively modern history of the troubled Middle East gives us a timely perspective with which to better understand the why’s and wherefore’s of the current conflict. Highly recommended!

A clear, concise, dispassionate account for all to understand the continuing tragedy in Palestine. The cruelty of the Israeli’s, the perfidy of the British and the pusillanimity of the Arabs are detailed unemotionally

In the light of recent tragedy in Gaza Strip, this book is a must to read. It is condense and fast one lesson starting from the beginning of Zionism in 1896. Book provides resources, chronology and glossary of people and terms. It is a small book, but print is of comfortable size. At this moment it is perhaps the best to explore. Too bad that nothing is mentioned in this book about 1933 Haavara Agreement between Germany & Zionist Congress, and 1938 Évian Conference. However it is only a small drawback.Educate yourself reading this book before trying to voice any opinion, because: nobody should judge the movie by watching its last 15 minutes !
