Good for you, but is it good?
My wife asked me to order the Nutrology Greens & Fruits Superfood Powder for her to try. She really appreciates foods that are healthy for her. Often a meal for her will consist of only a fruit and protein shake that she blends for herself nearly every day. She's felt a lot better lately than she used to feel before really taking stock of what she eats and valuing nutrition over simply good taste. I have to admit, though, that the shakes she makes are really tasty as well as nutritious! We've tried the Greens & Fruits now in a couple of different ways. The first time was when she added it to her regular shake recipe, which includes mixed berries, almond milk, and kale; along with various nutritional powders such as protein and collagen. The Greens & Fruits added a slight chocolaty note to the mix, as well as an earthy vegetable and stevia taste. It wasn't bad at all, although I'm not a big fan of the taste of stevia. I personally would prefer no sweetener at all over stevia. My wife noticed, however, that the Greens & Fruits made the shake grittier than before. So the first test could be considered as a success, but I wanted to know more about the taste of the product without being mixed with so many other ingredients. So I tried it as suggested on the label, and mixed the powder with only cold water. The smell of this mixture was really pleasant, as the chocolaty aroma really came through. However, to my taste the predominance of the stevia really ruined the experience for me. My wife is more accustomed to stevia so that didn't bother her. She mentioned that the mixture with water is actually a good way to take the powder. On my third attempt I mixed the powder with unsweetened coconut almond milk in the same proportion as the mix with water recommended on the label, and that one was the best for me! I would actually go so far as to say that it tasted pretty good. The Coconut Almond milk tempered the taste of the stevia somewhat, and gave it a "creamier" flavor. In all three formulations we tried, it was still the greens that brought most of the flavor to the party. I couldn't really taste any fruitiness at all. But taste is a subjective thing, so others may have a different opinion. One interesting note is that the grittiness of the product actually seemed LESS when mixed with the coconut almond milk by hand vs the smoothie blend which was processed in a powerful blender.Of course, taste is only part of the equation. The primary function of food is to provide good nutrition to the body, so if someone were to ask me "is the Greens & Fruits mix GOOD?", I would have to respond that all things considered it's better than a baked potato with butter, sour cream, and bacon!

Greens ad fruits
This greens and fruits are good. I will say I prefer it blended on a smoothie but when I am short on time I will simply mixed with cold water. Great for digestion and easy way to get some extra fruits and vegetables into your daily diet .

Works better in smoothies.
I tried it with just milk and didn't like the texture, but in a smoothie, it was great!

Good Mix, a tad on the expensive side
This comes in a normal looking tub and is fine powder. It mixes easy and overall the taste is ok, it is very earthy chocolate flavor. The ingredient list is good and its all healthy stuff for you. The only issue i have with this is that for the price there are better options out there, if you catch this on sale it is a great buy.

Different mix ratios = different flavors
Definitely a super food, the ingredient lineup is outstanding with nothing but good for you stuff included. Super green drinkers and those that do shakes or mixes will benefit from everything within. I prefer thick over mixed shakes and this yields a coconut flavor when heavy and gets undrinkable if made thick. I find that under mixing this product tastes best to me.

impressed with the chocolate taste
I absolutely love this powder. I am so impressed with the chocolate taste. I take it one to two times daily mixing it with the smoothie. It has 8 grams of fiber per serving.

Really enjoyed taking this!
30 various ingredients in a chocolate shake! A little on the expensive side per shake but it also has enzymes in it too. Rich chocolate flavor, not chalky. Blends well in milks or water.

8g of fiber per serving
So, this is a greens/reds/mushroom mix with 8g of fiber per serving. Now, if you ask my gut, it is pure goodness - those 8 grams of fiber are hugely appreciated! At 15 calories per serving, 2g net carbs and 8g of fiber... it's really a good deal for your body.Taste-wise, I have to say that for me it feels (and looks) more like beets than chocolate, but the flavor itself is OK for me. What is problematic though: you are trying to dissolve 8g of fiber in something like 8-12 oz of water, which, let's face it, is a challenging proposition. And, if you try to dissolve it in just water, well, it is going to have the texture of fiber suspended in water. Just make sure you keep something to mix the drink again and again if you decide to go that way and be prepared to add more water than you think it will take. I've found it better to mix the powder with something that has some fat and structure in it to hide the fiber - milk or yogurt for example.Texture and dissolving challenges aside, I cannot deny the goodness in this thing. And my gut is very, very happy about it.

Great flavor and nutrition. Saves time.
My whole family loves this shake! It’s chocolatey and sweet with no added sugar. It’s got 6 different nutrients including probiotics, oat fiber, greens, beets, fruits, mushrooms, and black pepper for better absorption. This goes great in a smoothie with frozen bananas too. It’s more for getting the added nutrients from plants and plant fiber than it is for protein. If we’re having eggs, but we’re low on fruit or time, this drink mix can be made quickly in a blender bottle. Highly recommended!

Great Superfood Product for your Post Workout Smoothie
This product makes a great primary ingredient to my morning or post workout smoothies. I also add some protein powder, delicious and healthy! I like that the product is manufactured in the USA (although with some international ingredients). There is no indication on the label that the product is 3rd party tested for purity BUT the label does indicate "low heavy metals verified".

Delicious and Nutritious
This powder is a powerhouse of nutrients and includes probiotics, digestive enzymes and fiber as a bonus.I love mixing a scoop (15 calories) with water to make a paste and add to that my seed blend for hormone balance, so flax and pumpkin seed powder or sunflower seed and sesame seed powder (all freshly ground). It makes a delicious "pudding" that is healthy for you.I would recommend this superfood powder to anyone who wants to increase their intake of fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and also get probiotics, enzymes and fiber. It is a win-win.

Chocolate milk health drink!
I love this product. It tastes amazing and only has 15 calories per scoop. It reminds me of protein chocolate shakes before working out. You can't really taste fruits and veggies but you can smell them before mixing. I put this in a blender with a combo of multiple other powders I take every day and couldn't be happier to have somethinf healthy to drink. I look forward to Greens & Fruits everyday. Thanks

I love it
The media could not be loaded. I’m currently on a 30 day raw cleanse and added this to my diet. I used it with raw oats and blended along with frozen strawberries, bananas, blueberries and almond milk unsweetened. This tasted like a Neapolitan ice cream or a rich chocolate shake. I was such a happy camper. I was full and my body felt better a few hours later as I was hangry upon making this. My energy has been good using this and I feel quite alright.

shake it, blend it, bake it
This is only 15 calories per scoop with lots of fiber. I like that I can get a blast of veg but what I like best is its deep, rich chocolate flavor. It's not chocolate-ish like many others. This is the kind of chocolate taste I crave. Another thing that surprised me is that it can be used in your baking. Winner. There's so many ways to use this Greens & Fruits powder but what I do is put a scoop in my morning coffee. It dissolves and blends quickly without a lot of fiddling around. Just a few shakes of the spoon. It tastes like my favorite coffee house blend.
