This Low Carb Gluten Free Pasta Can Easily Pass For The Real Thing! Kaizen Pasta is AMAZING!
I can't say enough good things about this Amazing Kaizen pasta. It is made with Lupin Flour, and a one cup serving (cooked) has only 6 net carbs and 20 g of protein! I have made so many recipes using this pasta. Mac N Cheese, Italian pasta salad, Tuna Casserole, Macaroni Salad and the latest was a blind taste test for my skeptical son. I bought two packages of Hamburger Helper - Cheeseburger. The first I cooked as packaged. The 2nd I substituted Kaizen Cavatappi Pasta for the included macaroni in the box. I really thought he would be able to tell the difference, but believe it or not, he chose the Kaizen pasta over the real thing! I have just received my 2nd batch and can't wait to experiment some more with the delicious looking recipes on the Kaizen website. I could only post two pictures, but wish I could share them all. Now, this is not a completely fool proof substitute, as it can have a slight chewy texture if put in the refrigerator after cooking and reheating. Just make sure you add enough sauce, mayo, dressing to re-hydrate. I don't feel deprived at all. There is a 3 box minimum for purchase, so it may seem pricey... but, if you have been missing your favorite pasta recipes, please give this a try.

Gluey and Gummy
One star is one too many for this gummy gluey fake pasta. It never fully cooks and it has the unappealing texture of paper mache. Save your money

It’s the closest to regular pasta yet
This is by far the best ever keto replacement for pasta. I’ve made a spaghetti goulash and a shrimp Alfredo. Both were very good. I used a whole box for the goulash and realized that I could have cut it down to,a half a box. With the shrimp alfredo I used a half box and it turned out much better. It really goes a long way and the pasta soaks up the sauce. My husband who is a pasta king actually likes this a lot. So I will be a regular buyer of this pasta. I will try other shapes

Good but pricey and small
I like this product but it's way to pricey for the serving you receive per package. This product is not for the average pocket person. I'll have to treat myself to this once in awhile as I wouldn't say it affordable. But base SOLEY on healthy option for regular pasta, this gets a 10/10.

Ya gotta integrate this slowly…
So I tried it and I’m gonna give it a three because — even though you can make the pasta work in recipes if you know what you’re doing — it really can create some serious belly distress if you have too much of it at the outset. For my part: the first time I made it (last night), I went cacio e pepe style (sautéing in a pan with the sauce and a little reserved pasta water) and that worked out so well that I ate two servings. BAD IDEA. Next day and my belly is a bit of a mess. So I’m gonna be sure to have one serving at a time with this, and not have it too often. To be fair: they do give an allergy warning on the package, saying it is in the same legume family as peanuts. They also give a bit of a “hint” in the cooking instructions, when they tell you to cook one serving at a time.I have since done a bit of googling about Lupini beans, and everything I read tells you to introduce these beans into your diet slowly. So… it’s not the fault of the people at Kaizen that these belly issues are a thing, but I guess I’d like my review to be a cautionary tale for anyone out there thinking this is gonna be a high-protein no-brainer. It’s not. It can work beautifully in delicious recipes, but moderation is key!

Taste and texture is great!
I was pleasantly surprised by how much this pasta mimics the texture and taste of traditional options. I love that it’s plant-based and gluten-free without compromising on flavor or quality. It’s a guilt-free way to enjoy my favorite dishes!

Not good
I really wanted to love these because I wanted a good high protein option for noodles. They just are not good. Obviously they are not going to taste exactly like a noodle, but the texture and taste is gross. Save yourself and they’re expensive

Not pasta
This was the worst pasta I ever tasted! They claimed it was the best pasta substitute. Would not recommend this product.
