Works perfect for my Hobie
Very easy to put together. Some screws take playing with, but there is nothing that you can really mess up on and once everything was together I did remove the nuts and bolts and loctite them for additional security as you don't want anything coming lose. Highly recommend this.

Seems great so far
I have not gotten to use it yet but I did assemble it and checked how well it fit. It appears to be the solution I was looking for. I wanted something lightweight, strong, good looking, easy to use, easy to store and capable of handling two kayaks. My favorite aspect at the moment is how easy it is to store. I was able to hang it on one of my broom hooks that was already there. If you think about it this is basically the same shape and size as a standard push broom. It is lightweight enough that it would be fine even if the hook wasn’t stud mounted. I still have to figure out how to adapt the T-Bone so I can use it with the tailgate in the closed position. I will update my review once I get around to that. In summary- this is the way to go!

for the price - end cap protectors would be an added safety feature from cuts.

Missing and broken pieces
Came with countless missing parts and zero hardware, the protective cover for it was broken, no instructions just a list of what should of been in the box, called boonedox cause I was interested in just getting the parts I needed but they don't answer their phones, amazon has awesome customer service as always

T-bone is Prime!
Superb manufacture; easy to assemble and mount, added a noise dampening insert on hitch end (just because), considering lockable hitch and coupler pin set, needed to use longest extension setting for full size pickup, use sensible speed over uneven surfaces.

Poorly Manufactured
I purchased this product because I was tired of buying steel bed extenders that eventually rust out from saltwater and sand. For the price (5x what a cheap steel extender costs) I expected a premium product. That's not what I got. Bolts had to be hammered through the holes to get them to go through because the tolerances aren't good. Same case for the pin that connects the two pieces. The finish built up inside the hole and I had to use a hammer to force the pin through.Now that it's put together it seems sturdy and I'm sure that since it's aluminum it will last a very long time, but the quality needs work.

Not worth the money
The brackets for this product do not fit where they are suppose to, and there is no clear list of instructions on how to assemble everything.For the money this is a let down when you can't even use the product like it was intended
