Where are these grown

California, But do not waste your money. For the price and the description I was not satisfied at all. They are medium to small, and not sure how fresh they were. Will not purchase from this distributor... buyer beware...

Hi! Are they fresh enough to peal the brown skin?

I didn't know you could peel off the skin. The ones I received were purchased in early August, which I believe is before the year's harvest. Next time I purchase I will wait until October.

I don't see anywhere that it confirms that they're grown in California. Where are they grown, and why does it not State the origin on the packaging?

Only the shipping receipt indicated the walnuts were from California.

what the difference between "sweet" and "walnuts" ?

A walnut will taste better or sweet once the skin is removed. Some manufacturers know how to remove the skin without disturbing the walnut. If the skin remains on the walnut it will have a bitter taste.
