The long thin spout on the bottle is perfect for getting into bearings and tight spaces
I've used it on 3 small spinning reels for lubing the bearings, bail arm, and line rollerthe gearing was stripped of original grease and Penn reel grease was used. It wasalso used on the spool shaft. All 3 reels already ran smoothly, but there is no doubtthey have never felt as silky smooth as they do now. The long thin spout on the bottle is perfect for getting into bearings and tight spaces. ReelX was recommendedalong with several other products by a reel doctor. I intend to use it to lube the bearings on my baitcasting reels. I'm going to compare it to Quantums "performance" lube "Hot sauce". Identical reels but with the two different lubes, tosee if i can notice any difference in performance.

Not as good as I expected
Maybe I got a bad bottle but it doesn’t make my reels move faster, it does lubricate but feels like the bearings moves slower. I think I prefer the penn oil better. The smell is not too bad.

I have been using this product for many years... it never lets you down or fails you. Great for bearing and all moving parts

Works miracles for rust prevention.
I used this to prevent rust on linear rails on a machine. I live by the ocean so bare metal will rust within a day and this has done a great job of preventing any rust formation.

Quality product
I have a garage full of fishing rods (and I only fish saltwater). I'd say this has been the best lube I've used on them, and it's brought a few older ones feeling "rough" back to life. Only need a few drops in prime areas, reel, and let it soak in and spread.

Good stuff
Been using this for years, first purchased at a specialty tackle shop under recommendation from a pro. He was right: This stuff does the job, does not stink, does not get gummy, and supposedly does not break down mono line. Works perfectly on all kinds of reels, esp. spinning reels for touch ups. A little goes a long way and you will find many uses for small lube jobs. Bikes, small parts, pocket knives, cables, etc. The applicator tip is perfect for getting the lube right where you want it without wasting.
