Unless these things start to rust, and I don't think they will, this item deserves high praise. The shears are sharp, heavy duty and the look like they will last a very long time. The all metal "handles" are comfortable enough. I have little tolerance to bad kitchen tools and I didn't want any rubber or plastic that will dry out and break off over time. All metal seems to be the best way to go.

So you want a quality pair of scissors? Yup Yup and Yup!!! Its far and few between that you get what you paid for. Have been completely disappointed until now. Yes you can pay 5 times more for the same thing. And I did - its my bad. This product comes super sharp, super good looking and super functional. I have not found anywhere YET a pair of scissors that compares for the money and the quality. I have no affiliation with this company what so ever.

I buy a turtle calendar very year for my best friend. She is thrilled by the pictures. She has had 2 turtles for over 56 year, and unfortunately one of then died last year. She never realized that there were calendars with only photos of turtles and was thrilled when I gave her one for Christmas many years ago. She eagerly waits for her calendar each year. The pictures are always wonderful. Not many people have had turtle pets and fewer people have had their pets live this long. This is true and my friend lives in New Hampshire.

This is a lovely addition to a kitchen/knife block. I love it, I use it for everything: cutting food into small pieces for my babies, hair, chip bags, herbs, plastic packaging... It's incredibly sharp, I cut my finger while cutting my son's hair!Only one con about the shears I received--it came with a weird dark rust colored spot where the two pieces lock together. I scrubbed it but it no avail, but it doesn't interfere with the functionality of the shears and I hope it stays that way!

These are great shears, the best I have ever owned but I will warn you that I fear and respect these shears like little else in my life. The shears are incredibly sharp, there is nothing else that I own that I clean as carefully as these. My wife and I have both cut ourselves washing them so buyer beware but again, outstanding shears.

The shears easily come apart and fit back together again for thorough cleaning, an important feature when dealing with proteins like chicken. The shears are sharp over the length of the blades, meaning no more trying to find the right spot to clip or cut whether you're cutting packaging, an herb bundle, or poultry. Based on many years in the kitchen, I highly recommend the MMG shears.

Love these shears. I cut a chicken up very easily and can’t believe I struggled doing that with a knife all these years. I can’t wait to try it on a rack of ribs.

The best thing I like about these scissors is that my children are unlikely to abscond with them. I was ready to chain the kitchen scissors to a cabinet.
