Works on 4k monitor
I bought an used "Like New" version of this cable. The cable came in original packaging and the cable was wrapped neatly. I could not tell if it had actually been used. This cable works with my 4K LG monitor and my Mac computer. My old HDMI cable could only do 30hz but I can confirm I'm getting 60hz now. The cable allows me to have a single cable solution for my laptop--monitor setup. I can connect peripherals to the USB on my monitor and have the cable charge my laptop while my monitor is on.USB-C can be confusing so I hope this review helps.

Good Cable at a "Good" Price
I don't know why USB cables cost so much lately. I see them here for $30 and up, which is ridiculous. So paying $15 for this one wasn't so bad, even though it is higher than it should be. Anyway, the cable performs as advertised. I get about 1,000MB/s sequential transfer speeds with this cable on a USB3.1 Gen2 port with an older TDBT M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure and a cheap ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB 3D NAND NVMe SSD. If I move the same setup to a USB3.1 Gen1 port, the speeds drop in half, which is expected. The bottle-neck is the controller in the NVME enclosure. The SSD itself is capable of about 3,000MB/s. All in all, this cable is a good deal and does what it says it will do. I did not test it's power delivery capabilities, as that's not what I bought it for.

Caries high curent - thick cord but flexible
Used for high-speed charging of devices if you have a high powered charging brick.

The right length and pushes 4k!
Does what I need it to do! It pushes 4k video from my Macbook Pro 2018 to my LG ultrawide monitor that has USB-C support. I couldn't get proper power distribution to the Macbook however as it was drawing more power than it was receiving. So even though the laptop was displaying the charging icon, it steadily was losing charge until it hit 0%.The length is just right too. If it was a little longer, there would be way too much slack that would need to be coiled and hidden somewhere on your desk. This type of cable is most likely purchased for the 4k video capability and as such will be prominent with your laptop on your desk. That means it won't be far off from your monitor and doesn't need much slack.

Works great for external monitors
I got this for my wife as a spare cable for her external USB-C laptop monitor, it works great. Cable Matters has always been a reliable brand for me, I haven't tested the data transfer with this on a USB-C dock but I trust the 10Gbp/s certification.

They work better
Worked when two other USB C to C cables did not. The device I plugged into needed the communication with the cable to charge. I plugged both ends into a few devices and the connection was solid, not loose. I would consider the flexibility average. Might be a bit stiff for a phone but it will work. My son likes this manufacture and I can see why. If there is anything negative I see is the markings are quite difficult for me (old man) to read. There is a S/N tag on it that could also have the rating.

Very Good "Full Speed" 3.1/Gen 2 USB Cable
I needed a longer cable to use with my Samsung T5/1 TB SSD. This cable works perfectly. Since I have both the external Samsung T5 SSD AND an internal SSD in my desktop, I needed this cable to take advantage of my USB 3.1/Gen 2 USB port on my PC. This cable DOES deliver the 10 Gbps capability of those features. This cable also feels a bit "stout" indicating a quality build and durability that I hope lasts a long time. This cable DOES supply the data transfer speeds I expected for 10 Gbps between my internal (PC) SSD AND my external Samsung T5 SSD. I would recommend this cable. I am very satisfied with mine.
