Great set and value
I love Henkels knives. This comes with a perfect wood block. I wish the slots were horizontal so that the sharp edge doesn't have to go against the wood, but that's a minor detail. I bought a steel separately to round out the set.

Perfect starter set!
We bought our niece a set of knives as she and her boyfriend moved in together and she just started learning to cook. All of her knives were so dull that it couldn’t even cut butter! These knives and proper knife care will last her for a long time.

Good value for the money
Bought this knife set for our mountain cabin. They are not the same substantial weight as our regular knives but do the job just fine. Helpful that they come with the wood storage block holder and scissors are a plus.

Little rust starting on one knife so take the time to dry.
