Herb Pharm Andrographis Liquid Extract for Immune System Support - 4 Ounce

Andrographis is not the best tasting herb especially when you are sick. I have been through a number of brands, and this has been my consistent go to. It is definitely an acquired taste, but for some reason this one doesn’t seem to taste as bad as some other ones do. A little recommendation would be to dilute it in a shot glass of water (not juice because that contains sugar) versus directly on or under the tongue if that is too much to handle.

Bought for the purpose it is made for and it is fine. No tincture tastes good. They just work good.

Take it in a veggie capsule.

This stuff is great. Can't get into detail or it wont post here but I love this herb. Similar to Lomatium. Def worth getting. I use it in micro doses under my tongue. Works great.

I don't use it often, but whenever I feel I'm fighting a cold, or possibly even a flu, I've found this stuff amazingly effective in relieving symptoms and preventing the illness from materializing. It has a mildly unpleasant alcohol taste, but when diluted with a little water, ends up quite mild, with the aftertaste quickly vanishing.

The taste would be less an issue if one knew that in India this herb is called "King of Bitter".We do need bitters in our diets, and being lopsided on the sugar side, we need it even more.Three tips to make the herb more palatable:1. There are genetic difference about how bitterness is perceived. Perhaps you are more affected by bitterness than I am?2. I put my dose in the biggest tea cups ich have, thus diluting it. I sip on and of during day and night.3. Originally, I added half a teaspoon of Manuka honey to the mixture - until I couldn't stand the sweetish taste anymore. But of course, honey masks the bitterness a good deal.And here is why I by the tincture rather than a capsule (where the taste doesn't play a role: Recently I have been diagnosed with ataxia, from arsenic poisoning. Well-known culprits are Indian medicinal herbs, green Chinese tea and rice (brown worse than white). The arsenic stems from Himalaya runoff, and from pesticides and fertilizers.
