Great 👍
Works great.

Great Quality
We have an old house and the pipes do not precisely line up. Quick-flex was perfect for the installation of new tub fittings. Much better than what is available from your local hardware stores.

Not flexible
Can’t join them together unless running straight.

As a Fernco fan for over 20 years, I’m very disappointed
I’ve been doing plumbing and home repair professionally since 1996 and quickly learned about the innovation and quality offered by Fernco’s flexible coupling solutions (they’re basically the “Coke” of flexible couplings since myself and literally every plumber I’ve ever encountered refers to any rubberized flexible coupling with hose clamps as a “fernco,” no matter the manufacturer). So, when I recently ran into a drain repair situation that required a unique solution (a double-ended 1 1/2” street/pipe-sized 45…double-ended meaning pipe size at both ends), I searched for that and came across this.Based on the combination of Fernco’s reputation for quality and innovation, the product photos, the lack of specific outside and inside diameter dimensions for the plastic fittings included, and the assumption that they surely wouldn’t design a product that reduced pipe size mid-fitting (and therefore break every known plumbing code), I mistakenly assumed that the plastic fittings were also 1 1/2” I.D. and would therefore work for my situation. Nope. The plastic fittings are not only closer to 1 1/4” fittings than 1 1/2,” they’re not even quite that diameter (and it’s not even clear whether they’re glue-able ABS, even if they were the right size). This basically means Fernco designed a “drainage” fitting system that reduces pipe size mid-flow, creating the high potential for choking off the flow of fluid in a drainage scenario or air in a venting scenario. What? Why? Also, how (from a code enforcement standpoint)? Then there’s the fact that the longer “flexible” couplings don’t offer any better maneuverability than simply using the appropriate glue fittings to make a swing joint and then coupling the ends together with two standard Fernco slip couplings. This product, as it’s currently manufactured, is useless nonsense from a company that should know better by now. They could easily have fixed this issue by making the plastic fittings standard pipe sizes instead of going the “factory specific” route and upsetting and losing longtime customers in the process. I see exactly what you’re doing, Fernco…and I don’t like it at all. Two stars (the second one is only because I know for a fact that you’re capable of being better than this since you usually are).

Not exact...
The measurements of these is not quite accurate. I used them for Vent pipe connections. I would not trust them with water flow though, even with the clamps very tight.

Nice😁
Needed them for my Tub drain.
