Absolutely Epic.

On the good side: The table is flat, smooth and quite fast, the balls are heavy and have a good roll on the table. The cues are fine, not much different from what you'd find in any pool hall. For a fold-up table its sturdy. It is heavy and needs two fit people to set up. The playing experience is close to the real thing in any pub or club. On the down side: If I'm being picky, a slight lack of bounce in the cushions, I’d say around 80-90% of where I’d like the to be. The table rails are wide and sturdy, but the cushions fairly thin. Wish they’d taken a cm off the rail and added to the cushion. The pockets are quite forgiving, partly due to the slightly dull cushions. I was a bit surprised there are no lines, dots, or D marked. Perhaps usual in the US. I suppose they could be added manually. I noticed a small groove in the playing surface under the felt where it must have been damaged. It doesn’t seem to affect the roll much so I'll let it go, but is a bit annoying knowing its there. A one-off I guess. Too much trouble to return the table. Overall: I’m pleased with it, and have no problem recommending. For a realistic price, it does a pretty good job at imitating a ‘proper’ pool table, and there aren’t many other afforadable options at 7ft.

My biggest concern with any foldable table was how sturdy it would be. I would thought I would likely have to reinforce it so it wouldn’t wobble when you lean on it for a shot. Not the case at all. I’m roughly 240lbs. When I lean in for a shot, the table doesn’t move at all from what I can tell so far. I think the dimensions are slightly smaller than a bar table at 34” X 74” from cushion to cushion, but not sure. Overall I’m pleasantly surprised. Balls seem good. Cues are not the most straight I’ve ever seen but they are better than most bar cues for being true. There are no head string or foot string lines on the table or markings of any kind including where exactly the balls should be racked, but not a big deal. Not sure how long it will last, but right now happy with the purchase and definitely do not regret buying it. I never noticed any reviews with pictures of the underside of the table. If there had been, that would have likely made me not buy it honestly. It does not look like it should be as stable as it is. Appearances are definitely deceiving. By the look of the structure you would think the table would move a lot, but it simply doesn’t. Well done.

TL,DR: If you can get one for around the $600 range, and you are in a situation where a slate pool table is not a feasible option for whatever reason, its a good buy. However if you want a pool table to keep for a long time, do not buy this. I got one of these on the recent spring sale for $600. At that price point, it is an acceptable table. However for a thousand I would say its really just not. The table is okay, but it seems like you gamble whenever you buy one of these. Some peoples tables show up fine, some are very warped. Mine is somewhere in the middle. Its reasonably flat, but slopes towards the middle for sure. It should be easy enough to level out with a fifth leg however. That being said, if you do get a pretty warped or damaged one that cant be fixed with a fifth leg, I cant even imagine how big of a pain it would be to try and return it. It is a very substantial table. I would be careful to keep the box intact while you are setting up and inspecting it just incase. Overall, its a pretty solid table and I am happy with it. If you are in a position where a slate table doesnt make sense to buy (like if you are in a rental like me) id say its a good buy at around the $600 range. But at the thousand dollar price point its totally not worth it. For that cost, you could find a used slate table, pay someone to move it and set it up, and get new cloth for around the same price. Plus, you could sell the slate table if you ever need to get rid of it, while this will have next to zero resale value being a folding MDF table. If you are short on space, can get a good deal, and dont mind it being a bit of a temporary item, id say go for it 100%. But if you are looking for a permanent pool table for your house, id really lean towards a slate table if you are a serious player.
