These Sonic films are good well-paced family entertainment with engaging story lines which will probably also maintain most adults interest.As a PG rated film with mild cartoon-level violence, parents will have to use their own discretion on suitability for younger children. Opinions no doubt vary on Jim Carrey's humour and antics; here he features as the main protagonist Dr Robotnik. If you have seen previous Jim Carrey films, you will know what sort of performance to expect. In my opinion, his 'full-on' approach does suit the character he plays in this Sonic franchise. And even if you are not a Jim Carrey fan, I doubt his role in the films will spoil your general enjoyment of these productions.
