Vanguard Alta Pro 2+ 264CT Carbon Fiber Tripod with Multi-Angle Center Column for Sony, Nikon, Canon DSLR Cameras

I've been a Photographer for 10 years. This is as nice a tripod as I've ever handled or seen. The carbon fiber finish is as cool looking as it gets, at's all kinda 3D like! $250 was about $51 over my budget, but comparable tripods go upwards of $500. And then there is the bottom line, I wouldn't care how much I pay for something I work with when it's a tool I like and/or need. And the fact that this articulates as much more than your average tripod is a really cool bonus. So that $50 is way into the wind at this point. It had a slight amount of white rubber mold, but such is the bane of photo eq, and again I'm am still really happy. I believe this is will be a tripod I will look forward to using for years!

This tripod but it lasted less than a year for me. I use it daily, folding it and unfolding multiple times a day. Before long its leg sections loosened until they couldn’t be tightened again and it lost 2 foot holds (which are not sold as an accessory).

Love everything about this tripod......Except! Where is the accessory for quick release??? Let me tell you that as a photog for years, you need a quick release on ALL your tripods, as there will be a moment that you have to have the camera off the tripod to get THAT shot. So where is it?

I love this tripod. It puts the viewfinder at eye level when fully extended and I'm 6'4". The center column is versatile with all of the possible adjustments. The legs are great. The entire thing is light and sturdy. I highly recommend this tripod.

I use a heavy Nikon D850 and have some heavy lenses. I knew this would be a problem with a tripod this small, but I needed something lighter for travel and hiking. I am pleased with the tripod. I feel that it is as sturdy as it could be for its small size. The ability to pull the center section up and horizontal for low level flower macro shots is amazing.

Excellent tripod. Ordinarily, I do not lock the twist locks on the legs of a tripod. They usually seem like the week point of the design and are the first thing to break/wear out. The Vanguard tripod twist locks feel different and seem to have a positive stop so that you do not over turn the twist lock. Materials and knobs all seem to be quality and designed to last. My one negative is the lock settings of the legs, they lock in at twenty degree increments. At twenty degrees the legs seem a little unstable, but the next setting is forty degrees and the legs seem to spread out for normal use. A thirty degree setting would have been the perfect compromise between stability and space needed for the spread of the legs.

Excellent build quality, very easy to use and very sturdy. The price was a lot cheaper than some other dealers on line. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought it at a cheaper price but received item in a moldy condition otherwise it is ok. Would appreciate if they told me, it is moldy.

Ce trépied, en plus d’être beau est d'une qualité irréprochable Sa colonne qui se bascule est vraiment un plus. Il a un rapport qualité prix, excellent. Un petit défaut quand mème, dommage qu'il n'est pas des pointes de trépied, comme certaines marques le fond. il y a bien un pas de vis mais qui ne correspond pas aux pointes que j'ai acheté sur Amazone. J'ai peut-être mal cherché. C'est mon troisième trépied et franchement, je ne regrette pas mon choix pour cette référence de trépied.

Ho letto diverse recensioni prima di acquistarlo, ma sono rimasta davvero sorpresa dalla qualità, robustezza es d'abilità di questo cavalletto. E' facile da usare ed offre diverse angolazioni di scatto. Ottimo sia per fotografia in studio che in esterne. Non ha nulla da invidiare a marchi più blasonati.
