Cool
Kids love it. Has a lot of stars. I'd say too many. But you can turn them down or off so that's good. Puts my kids to sleep and works good as a night light.

IT’S WORTH IT!
Bought this for my 8 year old son and I’m seriously jealous of him…we named him “Moon Man” and he’s super cool! It’ll blow your kid’s mind and definitely worth the purchase

Didn’t last long
A Christmas present for my granddaughter and it lasted 6 months before it stopped working.

A neat projector.
Arrived very broken, clearly dropped in box. But they replaced it without hassle, is actually a neat projector.

Son loves it!
Get it. Don’t think about it. Just get it. Your kid will love it. It’ll collect dust and never turn off. But it’s great! Just buy it!

Beware laser
Loved it. It’s cool. There’s an actual laser in it so if you have a toddler who is curious I would stay away

Love It
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for a hotel party with my sisters and they thought it was perfect for the theme. This projector gives hubby & I northern lights vibe.Pros- 1, works as described. 2, bright enough to see during the daytime, yet 3 dim enough to fall asleep with, 4 easy to travel with. 5 covers a large amount of space.Cons-1, the cord is not that long. 2, there are no words on the buttons. 3 a small bump will knock it loose from the moon stand and over to the floor.

Cute astronaut projector! My little Starboy 🤗
I love the fact that this star projector is a cute astronaut figure, and not a boring/ugly star projector that you usually see! It's not something that just takes up space on your dresser or desk when not in use, it doubles as a cute ornament - yet has the functionality of a star & nebula projector! The little astronaut (that I've dubbed Starboy!) has movable arms and a magnetic-attached head for positioning the stars and nebula on your wall or ceiling. This seems like a surprising benefit of this style, as I don't think the stationary projectors have this ability. I can't see how they would to this degree at least.I've seen a few others that are like a little person or dog but they look awful compared to this little astronaut figure. This guy is perfect! My only gripes would be:Firstly, that positioning is a bit finicky; you definitely have to watch how you aim it so that you don't get a laser in the eye unknowingly! I doubt the laser is as powerful as one that could blind someone from a long ways away, but I'm not really willing to test that out. I already got zapped in the eye once while setting it up - it didn't feel great and it was a bit worrying as to when my vision would be 100% again, which fair enough was only a little while - but still, I'd definitely exercise caution around it, and with how it's aimed.I'm not sure how safe it is for children (I'm just a space-loving adult with a fiancée and no kids), but parents should certainly exercise some caution & education for their children with these things I would think. My other gripe is mainly that I wish the stars were *white* light. I get that green lasers are super cheap and common, but I'd think a light filter or something could be used to alter this. Stars are not green!!Also - and it might be too much to ask from these type of inexpensive projectors - but I wish there was more to the pattern than just "fade in and out". I wish the stars could twinkle or something. You can make them static and then dim them, but the only other option is to just fade in and out (and you *cannot* dim them in this mode!). The fade in-and-out is ok as it's sort of dramatic at first, but it gets old pretty quickly and I wish it wasn't the only option. The nebula looks pretty great, and the color options are nice - but a slower rotation or some type of evolution would be awesome. As it is, it's either static or rotating too fast for my taste, even on the "slowest" speed. A slower rotation - not to mention a slow rotation of the stars - would be amazing. Also, the stars are are basically just a grid (like all of these projectors are), and I know it would likely be costly to make it more random, but I'm hoping in the coming years that might be something that could be achieved cheaply for greatly added realism and immersion. (Just a wishlist at this point, really!)I may have to look at some more advanced projectors for my wishes - if they do indeed exist (I haven't really looked into it at all) - but I know if they do, they would likely be *very* expensive compared to this one, and very likely wouldn't have the same aesthetic appeal! So either way I'm glad I picked this up; I knew that I had to get one ever since I saw my niece's star projector and was jealous - but this one is even better, given it's ability to be both a cute ornament as well as a useful space projector!Highly recommended!!

Great device, but definitely NOT A TOY, and must be used under strict adult supervision.
First and foremost, it is extremely important to consider that children can be injured by laser products. Because they are marketed as toys, parents and kids alike may believe they’re safe to use. For toys to be considered minimal risk, the FDA recommends that the levels of radiation and light not exceed the limits for Class 1, the lowest level in regulated products as defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).I found the label on this toy stating that this is indeed an IEC Class I laser product. This clearly communicates that while the product is of low risk and not in a higher emission level laser class, it is definitely not a toy!The fact that lasers can be dangerous may not be evident, particularly to the children who inappropriately use them as toys, or to the adults who supervise them. However, lasers can cause harm even to adults if not used properly.Never aim or shine a laser directly at anyone, including animals. The light energy from a laser aimed into the eye can be hazardous, perhaps even more than staring directly into the sun. And don't allow children to use this product. No matter how cute the astronaut may be, these products are not toys! That being said, the Astronaut was very welcomed to my kids' room, they just loved the display and that was the main objective. Since I have small kids, I had a challenging time setting placing the astronaut out of reach their reach and at an angle that the “stars” would not bright directly to their eyes. The astronaut feels of good build quality and the lighting is impressive and effective. The power cable (USB-A to DC) plugs into the astronaut's backpack, and this is also where the power button and two-mode buttons are.The lights and lasers shine from the astronaut's space helmet. The astronaut's head attaches to the body with a pretty strong magnet, and it is possible to pose the little arms vertically into different positions. The whole astronaut feels solid in the hand and has some weight, the design cleverly enhances functionality. The head can be rotated to adjust the projection direction. But I had to find a high place to set it. You should be able to get the light projection at the angle you want regardless of where you place it.The supplied remote control (which needs two AAA batteries, not included) can be used to operate and adjust the astronaut's features. You can switch the colors of the Nebula, change the speed of the Nebula's rotation, and adjust the brightness of the lights. The buttons on the device itself have limited adjustments, so take care of that remote control! There is a sleep timer that can be set to 45 minutes or 90 minutes. There is a little indicator on the astronaut's backpack. When it's blue, the 45-minute timer is on; when it's red, the 90-minute timer is active.Overall, this is an interesting contraption, pleasant to look at the lights, but must always be managed with care, and I would not recommend it for parents of children not of an age who know not to look directly into the laser beam.

Beautiful lighting without being overly bright
I'm really enjoying this galaxy light projector, it's something I've wanted for a while but haven't found one with the kind of lights I want.I will say that the stand this astronaut sits on is way too small, especially in the circumference, and the area where you put the feet isn't deep enough. The shaping of the feet mold also doesn't exactly line up with the shape of the astronaut's feet, which compounds the uneasiness I feel with the astronaut wobbling around with any slight adjustments. I'm definitely not confident enough to put this anywhere up high. I guess you could always use superglue or hot glue to make sure the feet stay on which should alleviate this problem. With that said, the lights this thing puts out are a sight to behold. It has a decent array of patterns and mixes in the galaxies which you can somewhat adjust with the remote. The default settings on this are the perfect brightness for a relaxing time without feeling like you're running a disco joint in your room. You can always adjust the timing and brightness of both the stars and the nebula separately to make your own pattern. It's also easy to operate, with a decent amount of controls without overcomplicating things. The astronaut design is a unique take on galaxy projector lights, which I like over the simple domes or cubes of other projectors of these types. The size of the astronaut doesn't take up much space either, and I prefer that it takes up space vertically instead of horizontally.Overall, I'm enjoying this projector as a nice way to light up a room with a relaxing mood without being overly bright and blinding.

A great gift option for all Ages
This projector may be medium-sized, but it certainly packs a punch. It operates very quietly, and its variations are just right for a soothing experience, making it ideal for a bedroom. The relaxing ambiance it creates is excellent. The only minor improvement I'd suggest is having an option for slightly brighter lights. Nevertheless, I'm thoroughly satisfied with this projector—it's perfect for parties or adding some excitement to your ordinary evenings. Moreover, it would make a fantastic and enjoyable gift option as well.
