Design ToscanoDragon of Murdock Manor Gothic Iron Bell: Set of Two, Set of 2

I do like the bells, I bought the 2 pack, made of cast iron I think, and about the size, I was expecting. The problem is with quality control. The holes at the top of the bell were NOT fully opened. I spent over an hour and broke 3 drill bits trying to open the holes, when that didn't work I got out a round file and spent another 2 hours until the holes were adequate. Yes, I should have returned them, but I did like them enough to repair them, I did not realize I would have to spend an afternoon working on them. I paid $44 for the pair, and without the defects, I would have rated this higher, as they were as described. The bells sound good, the dragon on the brace is good, although it did not come with screws for installation. And of course, I am keeping them. After all the work I had to do I can not recommend these though. See the other reviews, lots of complaints about quality control. Again more cheap Chinese **** that needs to be addressed DT needs to contact them and complain that quality control is a priority.

I have to laugh at the bad reviews. most of the issue seems to be around assembling this bell. I was momentarily confused myself but a quick glance at the picture sorted everything out and within minutes had everything put together properly.My only complaint is the size and sound.... i really wish it was bigger. I got these to hang on the gate post so visitors could ring it. I doubt I will be able to hear it. But the dogs will....and they will bark. and that's better than nothing.

Loved it got it for my husband he loved it. Looks just like the picture. Very pleased!

This Dragon Bell was missing three mounting screws. The chain is poorly made and is too large to fit through the bell hole (I was able to enlarge it with a round file). The chain is too small to attach to the upper loop. Despite these flaws, the dragon bell is awesome and being quite handy, I was able to fix it. However, the package said "set of two" and there was only one in the package. I would like my second dragon bell, it was going to be a present for Christmas. I don't want to return the dragon bell because it does look as awesome as it does on the website.

This make a good accent piece for the wall.

Dans le monde des cloches de porte, ça va du bas de gamme (autour de 12 €) à des prix hors d'atteinte (j'en avais vue une à 75 € dans un marché). Après avoir longtemps hésité avec une assez jolie en entrée de gamme (mais petite), j'ai jeté mon dévolu sur celle-ci avec l'option pack de 2 :• Parce que par deux, on a une belle ristourne sur la seconde (35 € seule, 47 € les deux).• Même si c'est deux fois plus cher que l'entrée de gamme, le prix reste honnête. Et puis il faut savoir que celle-ci est plus grande (25 cm de hauteur l'ensemble contre 18 cm sur les cloches premier prix).• Elle est surtout beaucoup plus belle que celles à simples motifs végétaux sur le support. Chez Design Toscano, en plus des motifs végétaux, on a une cloche légèrement décorée sur sa base mais surtout un superbe dragon ! Parfait pour les amateurs de fantasy.• Je ne regrette pas d'avoir prix le pack de 2, vu que j'ai deux portes d'entrée. Ainsi, chaque porte possède sa cloche.Ça reste néanmoins du métal moulé (on reconnait la jonction de la fonte pile au milieu du plan transversal du support), les vis ne sont pas fournies et la cloche n'a pas un tintement puissant. Il faut vraiment secouer la chaîne pour que ça sonne suffisamment fort. (Je pense qu'avec une cloche plus petite, ça aurait encore pire.) D'où que 4 étoiles. À mon avis, la robe de la cloche est trop épaisse par rapport à sa taille pour pouvoir pleinement résonner.L'une des deux cloches avait même un léger défaut d’usinage : j'ai du meuler à la Dremel le crochet du battant pour pouvoir le faire rentrer sur l'anse.Éternel avantage de la cloche par rapport à une sonnette moderne, elle ne demandera jamais de pile ou d'électricité pour sonner. Et puis est est magnifique esthétiquement. Rien que pour la beauté des yeux, elle vaut le voyage.

Ich bin ein drachenfan und so musste ein drache an die haustüre.Aber wie schon andere schreiben die köingelschnur ist etwas echt zu kurz und der klang ist nicht soooo schön, aber ok.
