Quality model
My model of the brain just arrived and was well packaged. It assemblies and reassembles easily. Thank you! My only concern is the limbic system is not identified with the amygdala nor the hippocampus - which were the very parts I was purchasing for. I will keep it and label the parts myself. Hope you will add these in the future - others will want these important brain areas labeled.

motor cortex faded in color
This was very VERY expensive and I used my Teacher's Choice to buy this for my classroom, but one band of the motor cortex (red) was faded in an odd pattern (see photo). I am a teacher and do not have time to return this item, but be warned that they have been sitting around for a while so may not be shiny and new. I wish I had the energy to return this, but it still works for teaching anatomy. I don't have energy by December. If you're a teacher, you know.

Very helpful for neuroanatomy study
The midbrain features - and ventricles - thalamus were not removable. Made identification of these areas difficult. But overall a great purchase for study.

Bad Production Quality
The item arrived with the printed labels smudged and several unreadable. I believe the person assembling did not wait for the ink to dry before assembling it and it caused the smudges. I tried to obtain a refund or new model but amazon refused unless I mailed back the whole thing, I didnt have a box nor want to go buy one, so I'm stuck with this thing now it seems like. I am also afraid of purchasing a new one in case the same problem occurs. A shame considering how expensive this is I expected better quality. Very disappointed with Amazon customer service too. I asked if they could mail me a box (flat packed) that I could put this into and they were unable. I asked if I could send a photo or a video of the defect they didnt accept. The customer service agent was rude I felt. There is also no contact information I can find for this New Horizons company too.
