Does not work well. Looks great.
Have had a number of Erogtron products over the years and all of worked well and and as advertised. This one is the exception. It does not lift easily with 30 lbs of weight. It supposed to support up to 35 Lbs. In contrast the WorkFit-S product lifts quite easily once adjusted correctly.Amazon sent a replacement as I was hoping the first one was a "lemon" i.e. a one off bad copy. Second one has the same problem. Also spoke with customer service at ErgoTron twice. The second time I was informed that they experienced the same problem with copies of this product in their office and they are discontinuing this item.It is barely usable as it takes a fair amount of effort to lift.It looks quite nice and better than the WorkFit-S. Too bad it does not perform its core function well. I will be looking at competitive products.

Sitting is the new smoking! - Try working standing up.
This is one substantial piece of office equipment! It is heavy and very sturdy. My 27" MAC fits perfectly and there is no wobbling or instability when moving the work surface up and down. I do wish there was a bit more room for a keyboard and mouse though. I use a Logitech wireless keyboard (with numeric pad built in) and it's a tad tight. I would still highly recommend this to anyone looking to try working while standing. As my doctor says "Sitting is the new smoking!".

Not impressed
The stand I received did not come ready to use. I am not sure if they sent me the right model - I am writing the same to the seller. It does require some assembly. included metal plates (hanging hooks) had to be connected to the Key board tray using eight screws and then the key board tray is has to be hung to the main stand. Keyboard tray easily comes out of this "knobs" .. It easily comes out The picture is deceptive. The platform does not have "curved" front as shown in the picture! I would have given a 4 star if it had the curved front. It does not lock on below certain minimum height (except for the lowest - desktop - position. ) -Pretty sturdy

Amazing. Very easy to set up and use
Amazing. Very easy to set up and use. Almost no effort to lift or lower the desk as needed. Amazing product, would definitely recommend.

Perfect for work and my 2 very large monitors
Perfect for work and my 2 very large monitors. The only drawback is that the keyboard section does not pull out, unless I am doing something wrong. Other than that, it is perfect!

Surprisingly Easy. Very Effective.
Out of the box, the shockingly heavy box, this was a great experience (except for the weight). I didn't even bother looking at the instructions. I took the unit (which, make no mistake, is heavy) out of the packing material and cleared a space on my desk, which is pretty standard in size. Immediately I looked down and noticed the grey paddles at the front corner of the workspace. I lifted these and the workspace very smoothly lifted.Done.OK, I had to put my monitor on and set up my keyboard (wireless) and trackball (also wireless), so everything was very smooth and easy. Not counting the time it took to clean off my old desk in preparation, this was way less than three minutes until I had a fully functional standing desk. It's wonderfully broad and deep, so I can put a lot material on it that I'll need while working (although, you do have to make sure you're taking into account the weight limits). I'm really blown away by the whole experience. I'm 6'1" and at the top of the range, I feel like I'm standing comfortably and my hands are resting at a pretty natural angle on the keyboard. There's enough space, so I think I'll experiment with placement a little to see if I can have my laptop sitting next to my monitor. Right now it's still on the desk.Mind you, nothing is perfect. After standing with the desk, I find that my fingers are slightly making contact with the desktop while typing. My keyboard has adjustable settings, so going from 8 degrees tilt to 4 seemed to have addressed that issue nicely. Speaking of keyboard, I have a big, fat, Logitech keyboard that I LOVE. It's actually a little large for the keyboard and mouse tray, so now my trackball is crowded. I tried placing it up on the workspace, which was fine while standing, but a little uncomfortable while sitting. This might take a little getting used to. When I raise and lower the Ergotron, I also have to make adjustments to my monitor, it just doesn't view comfortable the same way in each position. Another bit of getting used to. I'm also a little heavy handed while typing. I can see a bit of monitor shake while I'm typing this.Overall though, I think these are minor nits, at least to me, currently (time may tell). In the mean time, with very little effort, I have a standing/sitting desk installed and configured at home. Overall, this really seems to be an excellent addition to my home-office. I'm jazzed.

Works Beautifully and Not Just On Your Desktop
Months later this is still working great!I have read several studies about the health detriments to sitting most of the day. Since I am a writer, I find typing much easier while sitting. I saw this unit on Amazon and received it free for an honest review. The build quality is exceptional. It works easily and well. The down side is that it is big! 49 pounds and dimensions L x W x H 35 x 24 x 20 inches is big. I measured my desk and thought it would just fit. I was wrong. I did not take into consideration that I have pigeon holes and a hutch on the back of my desk. This unit fit there but I could not access any of the hutch when the unit was extended vertically and could not get to most of the rest even when the unit was down.Frankly I was disappointed as I am convinced the concept is sound. I moved the unit to a table in my garage. I was pleasantly surprised that it now provides a standing work space in the garage. I utilized it for several hours yesterday. My work space in the garage was all table height and consequently led to an aching back whenever I had something that needed fixed. This worked terrific by bringing he work surface to a comfortable height. If you want this for your compute be very generous on your space allocation. It works great but does take up a lot of space. For my purposes it is now an invaluable garage tool that demonstrates once again the beauty of flexible re-purposing.
