My initial thoughts were not great. When first taking it out of the box, it just seems so flimsy. Attempting to check the clasp, when it's not connected to a controller, just doesn't work; it won't stay connected. However, this all changes when you attach it to the controller. The fit is very tight and there is no movement at all, even when using quite a big phone (Oppo Find X3 Lite). I initially tried this on a Series X|S controller and it worked straight out of the box. When trying it on an Xbox One controller, however, it would not stay connected. This is because the Xbox One controllers are slightly thinner around the battery compartment. Orzly have already catered for this, though, by including a rubber pad that you stick to the back half of the mount (see photo). Once this is on the mount, it fits perfectly on the Xbox One controller. The adjustable part of the mount is great and stays put once tightened. It makes a huge difference being able to angle the phone correctly. All controller mounts should offer this! All controller buttons are still easily accessible when the mount is attached, including the sync button. If available, the 3.5mm headphone jack can still be used too. The only port not accessible is the attachment connector. So any chat pads, or the original wired headset, cannot be used. Overall, it's a great controller mount and I cannot recommend it enough.
