I was worried about it not fitting on my desk but with a bit of organization it didn't get in the way at all.The build quality is great, much more durable and long lasting feeling than I thought it would be - however, one solid drop and the clear plastic clips will likely shatter, which would render the whole stand useless.Storage while not in use is a little awkward. I've still not figured out the best way to put it away.

It does exactly what it says! A worthy investment.

I have been using this for the last month in my kitchen whilst cooking and it has been great. I sign up for the weekly food boxes which come with paper step by step recipes for each meal. I and my partner cook together and we were finding that it was awkward to keep passing the recipe back and forward so having this stand to prop the recipe up so we can both look at it at the same time has been great.It has an adjustable width with clamps so the paper stays secure the whole time it's attached. The base and arm are made from aluminium so it is pretty sturdy. The leg angle is also slightly adjustable to give it a smaller footprint if you aren't using a heavy book.Overall it's a nice practical little stand and I see myself using it for a long time.

A really good bookstand, but with a couple of limitations. There’s such a variety of bookstands on the market that it’s hard to choose, but this fits the bill in most areas. First off it’s aesthetically good looking. It looks sleek and modern, unlike a lot of the wooden bookstands you see around. It comes in two sections with the actual plate fixing to the stand with one screw (Alan key provided). It actually comes in a lovely box, well packed and would be an excellent gift for any bookworm. I like that the clips on the arms are transparent so don’t cover any text and there’s enough spring in them for an enormously thick book to be placed.There’s just two things about it I didn’t like. (1) It doesn’t fold up. My old wooden bookstand folds flat, then when you open it up the loosely hanging support bar at the back clicks into the recesses in the base. I attach three photos of the Viozon folded as best as I can get it. (2) the maximum book width (opened) to fit the stand is 40 cm. That obviously fits most books but any large A4 size book (like those in the DK series) won’t fit and I’ll need to resort to the wooden stand with its fold up arms or use bulldog clips on the book ends.

The description of this product claims that it is both Height & Angle Adjustable. And whilst it IS Angle adjustable, it is NOT Height adjustable. It is very light weight and tips VERY easily. It will not hold the weight of a hardback book. And the clips to hold the book open will only allow for a 250 ish page paperback. So if like me you also read hardbacks with the page lengths in the mid to high hundreds, this stand is pretty pointless and not worth the money. Lastly, trying to hold the clips open and insert the book is near on impossible. Do NOT waste your money....
