I use this for drinking water - so I pour the GOOD water into it to make ice cubes (rather than the tap) and it's easiest if it's CLOSED - or pressed together - don't OPEN and fill - because when you close it - the water escapes. Just leave it closed- fill it with GOOD water - THEN put the cap on. I found it easiest to use if I didn't fill it FULL - but left some air at the top so when the top is opened, and slightly twist it - THEN pull the handles - the cubes come out easier. Still found it hard to get all the perfect balls to come out - and it really needs to be fully CLOSED so the balls don't stick together.

I bought this product because i saw all the Instagram shills, shilling this. I though wow thats neat, i need a good ice cube maker. If you like little shards of ice this thing is great. If you want ice balls this thing sucks.First of all theres no fill line, so you close it up and slowly fill it with water till you thinknits good then freeze. Getting this thing apart when its frozen takes some strength, or running it under some water. To get the balls out is even worse. You sit there and shake the absolute sanity out of it and yourself trying to get all the balls out while its really only letting out maybe a ball or two and mainly shards of ice.If you want ice balls get a different product. If you want ice shards get a better product at making just shards. If you want to get strong and have ice shards with like 10 ice balls get this product.Hey at least it makes ice.

I was very excited about this product and the spherical ice cubes I’d be getting but after further review when you go to separate the cubes from their molding you don’t get good spheres. They are broken, bulky, and sometimes hard to get out of the container. I think this idea and concept was close but it missed its mark. I think less spheres as well as bigger ones would be better. It does make ice cubes and isn’t hard to operate so for that I gave it a 3.

I purchased 2 of these products and got them today. I washed, filled and put in freezer as soon as I received them. I decided to read the reviews. I reluctantly went and took the product out. It was perfectly frozen so I left it on the counter for 5 minutes. The lid was still frozen so I ran it over warm water, FOLLOWED the directions on how to loosen the cubes and I had no problem...ice cubes are rounded with flat bottoms....no shards...works for me. Product says what it does.

Product was awful and broke after a couple months and I can’t even return it. Hard to get cubes out too! I had to go in and cut them with a knife
