what is the cable for?

in order shutter release button works . should use cable connect battery to camera

will this fit a canon r6?

probably not this is for rp and the battery is a e-17 where as the r6...Canon BG-R10 Battery Grip EOS R5 R6,

How does the color match with the RP body?

Color match is OK but did not really like the feel of the Battery Grip. Took it off and just use the Canon RP grip without the extra battery. It is so simple to remove a battery and replace it.
