This gauge is truly to spec. I’ve had another manufacturer’s that the finished round would “pass” and then not chamber completely. This gauge is easy to use and now I know for a fact they will chamber.

Why I Use This Guage
Pistol brass does not normally grow, and you can use your calipers (which you should have) to measure your brass and your cartridge OAL, so a cartridge gauge is mostly a luxury. Then there is 9mm range brass. You need this to check for Glock bulge, which can cause feeding problems and to check for 9 x19 Luger cases that have been converted to 9x18 Makarov dimensions, which I use and have run into with used brass I've purchased This makes for a quick check and saves wear an tear on my Mitutoyo calipers.
