Works gently and effectively overnight. Strongly recommend for chemo patients day before, day of, and day after each treatment. Made a world of difference! Only wish I'd known to do this for the first round.No taste; mix with water or juice. My GI prescribes this for colonoscopy prep -- far less aggressive than the pharmaceutical colon prep. I have had digestive issues and constipation for years. Miralax works well and consistently to help relieve. With doctor recommendation, I take 1.5-2 capfuls at night and have relief in the morning. It does cause some gurgling and movement, so it's best to take close to bed time to avoid feeling them. It's flavorless and can be mixed in almost any beverage, but recommend drinking it cold.
