I cannot say enough good things about this book. It's concise, clear and directly to the point about answers to our personal finance questions, including things you didn't even think to ask. I'm currently following Dave Ramsey's "Get Out of Debt" plan using the snowball method and it's working beautifully! In a couple of months, I will be completely debt free, and it's all because I read this book in the library. I loved it so much, I bought my own copy to own. I recommend this to everyone out there, and I think it should be recommended reading.

Solid book. I agree with 99% of the content. I disagree with his view on prenuptial and separate finance (though I'm okay with joint account on Daily utilities).The assumption Mr Ramsey makes is prenuptial is a symptom of "love of money". That's not necessary true. It's to ensure that if a marriage comes to an end (ex: infidelity, and the kids are not his), each party can move on as quickly, peacefully and rationally as possible.

Really Touches up on the most well effective concepts .One Should have when Dealing with money.I love every single part of it .

A young couple asked for help understanding the basic principles of money management as they started out their lives together. I had given another copy of this book to yet another young person looking to get started in controlling her money. She told me this was the best thing she had read, answered virtually all of her questions and gave her some hands on tips. I provided this book to this young couple and they are now going through it, with other resources I was able to provide for them. This book has great information (not rocket science) for a young couple starting out to use in setting up their finances. First of all, get out of debt. In three weeks they have already paid off two of five debts and they are believers.

This is a great book for anyone wanting to have financial freedom. Very informative on how to invest in retirement, and saving for a credit card free future.

Very easy to find answers for the typical financial questions. Basically a financial faq for anyone that hasn’t listened to the show.

This book is for any one that wants to gain a new respect for money and finances, and is thinking about their future and not instant gratification. Life is a series of sacrifices.I chose this rating because it completely broadened my outlook on money.The there is not one section in this book that I disliked.I RECOMMEND this book to my son who is getting married soon and anyone else who wants to get a grasp on uncontrolled spending and take the emotion out of the equation.
