It guides you to know your game.
It really helps to know your game. Find your niche (there is a chapter dedicated to it), write on a platform, what to expect and how to react to feedbacks (positive and negative). It guides you to build a community of your own. I did not agree with 'do not start a blog' thing. But its ok. 10 years since that book, we have a whole different playing field, so everyday is like trying to figure out.

Exactly what I wanted
This book is filled with gems for people who want to see the patterns for success in not only online writing, but in content creation of multiple other types as well (I think the lessons here can easily be applied to presentations, online video, podcasting and more). The author is clearly an authority in the space and walked the walk and delivers clear actionable advice and frameworks to get the job done. I don't normally write reviews but this book was one of the most actionable and clearly written books I've read in a while. Highly recommend.

A Most Unexpected Book
I'm only on page 60 and felt compelled to write a short review so I can get back to it. For one, I can't seem to put it down, it's that good. I love the conversational tone throughout, it makes it easier to understand the context and lessons that are within. I'll admit, as I have already, that I am only at page 60 but the way this book has grabbed my attention is profound and the reason why I felt compelled to write this now. I almost didn't buy this book because of a few negative reviews, however, Im so glad I never let that stop me. I have come to the conclusion they must not have read the book at all.

inspired with a to do, list
Surprisingly insightful. Debunked quite a few things. A few myths. Logical and methodical. Sincere in the actual difficulty of writing online.
