Outstanding sound and design; worth the money
Fantastic sound...only issue initially was that the bass rattled my TV's plastic base. Adding a bit of soft drawer liner took care of the issue; foam chair pads might also do the trick. Connectivity is simple and easy to follow. Volume controls paired easily with my TV/Cable/Satellite remote. The app works great and provides many options. I also added two Sonos Ones as satellites and set up was literally as easy pushing a few buttons. There are a couple issues sometimes controlling the Playbase with the Echo Dot as it will not switch back to TV from streaming music by voice control. I always need to go back to the app. I believe this is an issue in the Dot's ability to control Sonos and not a Sonos issue. All in all, super pleased to find a truly wireless home theater system. The fact that it actually delivers fantastic surround sound that is clear and dynamic makes this an even more satisfying purchase. Some may want to add the SUB for more bass, but I'm truly surprised at the level of bass provided in so slim a unit. The big test was Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Sonos killed it; big, bold sound during special effects, yet dialogue was clear and easily understandable, especially when using the dialogue enhancing feature of the Sonos app. Only downside, if any, to get the full use of the features and to configure Sonos properly requires the use of the Sonos app. Only basic volume & minimal function controls on the device itself.

Unbelievable sound, simple to setup
I bought the Playbase with the sub and two Play Ones. This system is phenomenal. The setup using their app is brilliant and they make it beyond simple to tune specifically to your room. The sound this system puts out is like NO other. The sub is unbelievable. The surround sound is immersive. The system is so clear and crisp. I cannot think of one negative aspect of this system. I was on the fence between this system and Bose. Glad I went with Sonos. Worth every penny.

Poor technology, average sound, good design
Six months later, it's a waste of money. I wanted this device because I liked the design, heard good things about the Sonos brand and most importantly, found the wireless speaker aspect appealing.Unfortunately, Sonos can't successfully engineer an internet-connected speaker. There are constant WiFi signal interruptions and Sonos' response is to hardwire the speaker to the router. This completely defeats the purpose of a wireless speaker and it only fixes the problem ~75% of the time! Then, Sonos' customer support is atrocious. It takes days of delayed email responses to get any sort of help, and the solutions they provide are band-aids; they make the product work but at the jeopardy of product features.Do not recommend: you can get better speakers at lower prices from other brands!

Great sound, slim, and more than just a base for a non-mounted TV
The playbase is legit! Definitely has some decent bass in it. I’ve got my playbase in my basement on an entertainment center with 110” screen/projector. The Playbar would have been too tall and interfered with the screen so I elected to go with the Playbase. I have a sub and two play 1’s as surrounds. Sounds amazing. I bumped it up a bit and put a play 3 on either side of the the screen. I can group everything together for SERIOUS sound, whether I’m playing music or just the TV. All in all, the playbase is great, but Sonos is so sick. If you have the money it’s worth every penny. I’ll be able to take it to any house I move to and I can always assure that the speakers will get better with any updates they do via WiFi.

Really nice but VERY VERY LIMITED!!!! Please read
I am an avid gamer, I watch anime and some movies. I was upgrading from the Sound Blaster X (LED)I was told in a MacMedia store that the Sonos was amazing and could be used with a computer for gaming etc.I was super excited to get it and set it up. I bought the Playbase and the SUB.Setting up: Setting everything up was amazingly easy and very user friendly. I was please to have everything sync together without fail or issue. (***** Five Stars)Product: The items are very heavy and heavy duty. I was also very pleased to see that you DO pay for what you get. So the product does NOT feel cheap at all. (***** Five Stars)Functionality: I was very shocked that for whatever reason this system is NOT for PC gaming, It is STRICTLY ONLY for Streaming apps (Spotify, SoundCloud, Pandora, iHeartRadio etc.). Also note, this is also for connecting to Televisions with Optic Cable. If you want to play games and watch Netflix etc., you can do it this way. ONLY. Cannot be used to Output computer Audio, Phone audio. (* One Star)Conclusion: I think this system is amazing in all ways. But the Downfall of the device is that its Limited. Gaming is the Largest entertainment market by 160billion Globally!. People Like myself, we want a audio system that will deliver. People that want to use this for gaming or computer audio output, dont even bother because it simply wont work.I really hope Sonos makes a system that can be used for PC usage because there is a market and we need something that will deliver that punch of audio heaven that I was expecting to have.

Monitorea el precio.
Calidad de sonido impresionante, la compre en 10,500, pero al siguiente día bajo a 10,000, puedes monitorearla y seguro la ponen mas barata.

It's okay for wireless sound, but it could do much better on feature support.
Pros:-WiFi is nice. Cordless surround speakers is a dream come true and will save me more grey hairs.-Original setup is mostly trouble free.Cons:-Lack of HDMI input is troubling since my fairly new and expensive LG TV will not pass through full 5.1 surround sound in some cases.A direct HDMi for sound would have solved this issue likely.-Large marketing push by company oversells a bit. Music cannot be streamed from a PC easily. Music on my iPAD has to go through the Sonos App which is just an added layer of complication, and from what I can tell does not shuffle. Haven't looked too hard.-LG had no official support for Sonos. Their Magic remote also doesn't immediately work with the Sonos. A work around is available by selecting another manufacturer's soundbar. But this took some research which doesn't bode well for Sonos claim for simplicity when they don't work with other manufacturers.-Lack of DTS support is also unfortunate. It was a surprise to me since I'm fairly new to the audio game. I'm also surprised how much DTS content is out there considering Sonos claiming it's not an important Audio format. Both streaming and downloadable content. Trying to find workarounds just added more expense and complication to my life.-input ports are very inaccessible and hard to get when system is installed. A very dark cramped recess at the back of the sonos PlayBase.-Only optical-IN. No other options.

looks good but does not sound right
amazon accelerated delivery and i had very high expectations based on the description of the product and on the good reviews.unfortunately i am very much disappointed with the sound. i felt a deterioration of the sound compared to my high end tv. there is more bass coming from the soundbase than from the tv but the medium and high sounds do not sound right. on my tv those sounds are crystal clear and more pleasant to the ears. the playbase sounds weird even with all kind of tunings from the app but it did not help.i also have a harmon kardon speaker attached to a different, older tv. the hk blows the soundbase away. sounds come out clean and clear and it even has a nice, natural bass. the difference is like day and night for classical concerts. even for films the hk works very well. samsung just paid over 18 billion for the company. there must be a reason why they did that.the playbase blends into my furniture nicely. that is the only pro i find.i think there is a design flaw. i have looked at pictures of the open playbase. there you can see that the speakers are actually extremely small. most of the large size of the playbase is used by electronic components and by a large fan.maybe it works for tvs with bad speakers. it does not work for me and therefore i am returning it to amazon.
