Strong magnets
Strong magnets at a good price. I've used two of them to attach a four pound weight to a metal tube and they do the job.

Pretty good little DIY magnets
These are good for what I needed them for. I used them to attach a power strip to the side of my toolbox, and they work well for that. I used three on a 9" power strip to hold it onto the side of the toolbox. They aren't super strong, at lest not as strong as some other ones I have purchased. You can remove the power strip without too much effort, which is ok for this purpose. They do hold the power strip strong enough to where when you pull a cord out of the strip, you are not pulling the strip away from the toolbox. The adhesive that comes with the magnets are strong, and easily worked to hold the magnets to the back of the smooth power strip. While I gave it a 5 for what I was needing them for, if you are looking for some really strong magnets that will hold more that say 10#s, these are not what you are looking for.

Reasonably stout.
Strong magnets. Bought to use for making a cup holder. Didn't end up using them so they are stuck on my tool box for later.

4+ Star Review of Excellent Magnets w/ Minor Adhesive Issues
The DIYMAG 12Pack offers a set of neodymium disc magnets that are designed for heavy-duty use across a range of applications—from holding items on your refrigerator to use in DIY projects, scientific experiments, crafts, and office organization. Measuring 1.26 inches in diameter and 0.12 inches in height, these magnets promise impressive strength in a compact size. They come with a double-sided adhesive intended to facilitate easy mounting, making them a popular choice for a variety of creative and practical tasks. Pros • Exceptional Magnetic Strength: Users consistently highlight the powerful holding force of these neodymium magnets. They are capable of supporting significant weight and remain effective for both indoor and light outdoor applications. This makes them ideal for tasks ranging from mounting insulation boards on a fireplace to organizing office supplies. • Versatility: The magnets’ compact size and strong magnetic pull make them suitable for a wide variety of projects. Whether you’re working on craft projects, scientific experiments, or simple household fixes, these magnets offer the flexibility needed to tackle many tasks. • Ease of Installation: With the inclusion of a double-sided adhesive backing, these magnets are designed for quick and straightforward mounting on metal surfaces. This feature is particularly beneficial for applications where drilling or permanent fixtures are undesirable. Cons • Adhesive Quality Concerns: A recurring theme in customer feedback is the reliability of the double-sided adhesive. Several users have reported that the adhesive can lose its stickiness over time or fail to support the magnet’s weight consistently, leading some to seek alternative mounting solutions such as aftermarket 3M tapes. • Handling Difficulties: Due to the high magnetic pull, some users find that the magnets can be challenging to separate once they snap together. This extra strength, while a benefit in many contexts, may be inconvenient in applications where frequent repositioning is necessary. • Potential for Damage if Misused: There are occasional reports of magnets chipping or breaking if they are forced apart or if they collide with each other too forcefully. Care should be taken during handling to avoid such issues. Recommendations • For Heavy-Duty or Permanent Installations: Consider reinforcing the adhesive or replacing it with a high-quality alternative (such as 3M VHB tape) to ensure a long-lasting bond, especially if the magnets will be used in applications that require a secure, permanent hold. • For Projects Requiring Frequent Adjustments: Be aware that the strong magnetic attraction can make repositioning difficult. If your project requires frequent changes, you might need to plan for additional tools (like a thin pry tool) to help separate the magnets safely. • Handling and Storage: Store the magnets with a non-magnetic separator between them (such as thin plastic sheets) to prevent accidental snapping that might cause chipping or breakage. • Usage Environment: While these magnets perform exceptionally well in controlled indoor environments, prolonged exposure to moisture or outdoor elements might accelerate corrosion if the protective coating is compromised. For outdoor or high-humidity applications, consider additional protective measures. Conclusion The DIYMAG 12Pack Strong Neodymium Disc Magnets present a compelling option for DIY enthusiasts, crafters, and professionals alike due to their impressive magnetic strength and versatility. However, potential buyers should be mindful of the reported adhesive issues and handle the magnets with care to avoid damage. With some minor adjustments—such as upgrading the adhesive for more demanding applications—these magnets can serve as a reliable and powerful tool in a variety of situations.

Really strong
These are really strong magnets. I don’t know what they are typically used for, but I imagine that they have a million and one uses. They come well packaged in a Styrofoam enclosure, and they have a plastic disc in between each magnet as shown in the photos. The disc is important because without it, pulling them apart is quite difficult. In fact, the only practical way to detach them is to slide them off because trying to pull them apart is almost impossible. The shiny nickel-finish gives the impression that the magnets are made of solid metal and nearly indestructible, but they’re not. My son accidentally dropped one off the dining table, and it broke in half. That’s not a knock on the magnet, just a reminder that they can break if dropped. One of the things I wanted to do with these is attach a couple of accessories to the overhead console in my truck. I taped one magnet to the accessory, and then taped another magnet to the inside of the console. It’s like magic! The accessories can be removed for cleaning or any other reason, and there is no residue of any kind on the surface of the console. It’s clean and sharp-looking installation.

Great but quality control issues?
These magnets are awesome and the sticker adhesives work great. My reason for reducing stars is that on my third order of these, two had chips missing out of the magnets?? The first two orders were flawless though. I use these to keep my garbage cabinet under the sink, and a few other drawers and cabinets closed. A bit spendy but they work great.

Strong Magnets
Worked great. I used a set to keep my clothes dryer door open. The adhesive didn’t work very well because the magnets are so strong so I resolved the problem using super glue.

Magnets
These are pretty good magnets. What I initially bought them fore at the moment is not going to work. So I'll save them for another project

The photo attached showed that the upper 3 magnets are my previous order and the lower ones are the new orders of the same magnets a month later. The newer magnets are smaller compared to the previous ones. :( It works otherwise though..

Very difficult to separate but they are magnets, very strong so you can, if you are not careful, easily trap finger between them so be careful. I have stuck on inside kitchen cupboard for my good kitchen knives work very well

I bought these magnets as I needed a particular gauss for using in Biomagnetism. They were advertised as 5000 gauss. I put them on my gauss meter with the hold function which holds the top number you can find. As you can see it made it to 1635, not 5000.

Pretty weak, not as strong as the bar ones I got from Amazon as well. https://www.amazon.com.au/Neodymium-Adhesive-Powerful-Magnetic-Rare-Earth/dp/B08D6HSMXK/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?crid=KDRSZ5P6WSK2&keywords=neodymium+magnets&qid=1676171306&sprefix=Neod%2Caps%2C395&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExTzUxT0tQNU9aNzNGJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjA5MjAyM0tZODFRRFI0TkQxVCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEzTzE0UTBZN1pOWDRSJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfcGhvbmVfc2VhcmNoX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
